I've dropped around 10% of my weight
and have been feeling pretty good about myself, although these past few days
I managed to gain back 3 pounds :(
What worked for me was to cut out a lot of fats/oils and red meat and to eat a lot of salad and walk a few miles per week. Anyway, have hope, this is doable. It takes a long period to put on the pounds, so the slow and steady appraoch IMHO wins the race.
