losartan generic date

Hallo there -anyone and everyone. Is there any reasons to prefer or take losartan above olmesartan or the olmesartan above losartan. Person taking these is african, 57 years, female and oh, my mother.

My MD put me on Hyzaar for hypertension. Previously I had been on Cozaar but she changed it to Hyzaar for the added benefit of the diuretic. I noticed my drug company autosubbed generic Losortan. The bottle doesn't say anything about hydrochlorothiazide being included. Could I be getting the wrong thing, or should I assume some form of hydrochlorothiazide is included?

I am taking Losartan, which is the generic of Cozaar. Like Benicar (which is not available in generic yet, I believe) it is an angiotensin II inhibitor. There are usually very few side effects associated with these drugs, but their action on the biochemistry of the body is complex, so anything is possible. I have Hashimoto's disease, which means I am HYPOthyroid. Before the Losartan, I was taking 90 mgs of Armour (which is T3 AND T4) daily.

I am on Losartan 50 mg sice last few years, Sometime my BP goes berserk ranging from 150-160/90-105. I used to combine atenolo 25 mg and it used to be normal. Now since 5 days back I forgot to take Losartan at my usual time in morning, but took it in evening. What happened that my BP is not cominh down, I take metprolol 25 mg in morning and after an hour or so BP becomes more or less normal but start rising after 9pm and in the morning ranges the same as mentioned earlier.

the doctor switched me to Losartan 50 qd. I am going to change on Monday to Losartan and am nervous about what will happen. any thoughts on this??

I am concerned about the drop in dose and generic brand (synthroid is tier 4-expensive for me). I also take losartan 25mg and just came off Farxiga since I am not pre-diabetic anymore, A1c is 5.6 (4-6.4).

Hey everyone thanks in advance for those of you that are reading this it Is greatly appreciated of any feed back. First of I'm 22 years of age, male about 6'2 kinda muscular 228 pounds, and pretty active. I've been diagnosed with hypertension and was put on losartan 50mg/hctz 12.5mg by my cardiologist when my blood pressure was running about 150-160/80-90 consistantly about 2 months ago.

Anyone have an increase in high blood pressure & heart palpitations while taking Buspirone for anxiety? I am 41 & female. I have genetic high blood pressure and take Bystolic for it. I have taken a low dose of Buspirone on and off the past few years. My doctor increased my dose a few months ago (I take 15 mg twice a day) and I feel like sometimes my heart palpitates and night. The palpitations are waking me up some nights. My BP also seems to be spiking on and off the last couple months.

His averaged blood pressure is 146/80. He was placed on losartan potassium (50 mg) for 8 days but there is no change to his averaged blood pressure. I would wonder if the sound issue is not related to a bit of anxiety. I'm not really seeing anything in the literature to support what you describe with retards to sound being louder but sensory experiences can be affected whenever our nervous system is not regulated.

My GP put me on Lisinopril last year but switched me to Losartan after the Lisinopril failed to help. The Losartan brought my BP down a lot with a 50 mg daily dose. I was down to 110/70 and even 100/65 at times. I even got light-headed when I stood up quickly. The GP said this was normal and good. He likes my BP to be well below 120/80. So far so good. I was getting the Losartan from Walgreens as a 30 day supply.

I was on losartan for a few months. I don't think that my bp was consistenlty high. I think what was going on was that it was very up and down and it was making me feel pretty bad. But losartan which is a third line for bp was the first thing that they put me on. And I don't think my bp was that bad. I have had elevated renin/aldosterone studies and low potassium in the past.

Has anyone heard about a study with Losartan, a BP drug, on people with HCV, with moderate Fibrosis? Its suppose to shrink them, so the liver can heal. I was wondering how I could get on a study like that? I'm Type1a, a non-responder.

I have been on Losartan for approximately eight months come here recently I have found it very difficult to swallow my food and seems like he gets caught in my esophagus, yesterday at two different Meals I began to choke on my food I had to drink several glasses of water in order to get my food to go down with no issues. Yes, I have a history of SVT (supra ventricular tachycardia). I have had 2 ablations to treat it. My last surgery was in 2012 and my heart has been fine. My cardiologist felt my heart was still beating too fast so he put me on Carvedilol and I've been on it since then - it helped me feel much better as far as my heart rate. Now that I have been fainting, my Cardiologist decided to try switching my Carvedilol to Toprol XL and he wants me to try the Florinef.

After a month of anti-tb medications, my cough still persists, my doctor then prescribed diflucan 150 thinking that I might have a fungal infection aside from tb. i just had 2 caps of diflucan but I now suspect that losartan is the culprit since I am taking it for more than a year now.
