loestrin fe and weight gain

I am just SO nervous that I am going to gain weight and my running will be negatively impacted on the lo loestrin fe. Does anyone know if lo loestrin fe causes any weight gain or does anyone have any positive/negative experience with it?

Hi, I'm currently taking Loestrin 24 Fe, because I don't have enough hormones in my body, causing an irregulation.. Anyways, I would like to know more about this pill? Would it increase my possibilities of conceiving after I stop taking them? Would I gain weight? Thank you.

I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe. I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.

I was on Loestrin 24 Fe for 5 months but my doctor switched me to Lo Loestrin 24 Fe because she thought I needed a lower dose, as I kept getting recurring yeast infections. The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack.

every birth control i have been on i have been gaining weight.... and i looked up loestrin and it said it doesnt and you get lighter shorter periods.... and only have it for 3 days or so... im not on any birth control rite now but i just got my results back from my papsmear and it said its ab-normal! whatever that means. And im scared to go back on birth control since my miscarriage that was back in 2008!! =0[ someone help...

If you tell your doctor your experiences and concerns about weight gain, they may able find one that hits the sweet spot.

I was on Loestrin 1/20 Fe for 2 years and it initially seemed to help the acne, but eventually it got worse. I switched to Estrostep 1/20 for 6 months and it got even worse. Then I switched to Ortho Cyclen in hope that the higher estrogen dosage would help. It has and my face is almost clear after 3 months. However, it has made me gain weight and be bloated all the time. This is not okay, so I definitely need to switch again because I cannot afford to buy all new clothes in the next size up.

pills all nut two made me gain weight, Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, and Lo Loestrin Fe, I also tried the Nuva ring and sex was never the same after that, and I was on the shot and that made me crazy, all birth controls are different for everybody

Hello, I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?

I started the birth control le loestrin fe at the beginning of August (but I didn't wait until after my period came to begin taking the pills) I haven't had my period in those last four months. I had some weird symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness and discharge from late September to late October but not so much anymore. Is it normal to miss your period for that long after starting birth control or specifically lo loestrin fe?

I was taking to Loestrin Fe for a while. I took it in the morning with water. I seemed to have a little bit of heartburn, but after I ate something it got better. I also was diagnosed with Endo. I had some problems with spotting for a while with Loestrin Fe so my Dr. switched me to a different pill. It's a generic version with more hormones.

Okay so I really need help. I went on a date like 2 weeks ago. The guy fingered me with a little bit of precum on his fingers. We didn't have sex or anything. The thing is, my period is late. I'm on Loestrin 24 FE. I forgot to take one about a week before this happened but I continued taking them at around the same time every day. I'm on the 3rd brown pill out of 4 and my period still just isn't here. I'm scared. I usually start on the 2nd brown pill.

Since it is my first month on the pill I worried I may become pregnant and read that Lo loestrin fe, if taken in doses of 2 pills after sex, and two pills 12 hours later, can act as a plan b type pill. I eat a low fat diet and exercise daily, but I am on loestrin FE. Yesterday I noticed a feeling of stiffness in my ear and jaw that has continued through today. Is this indicative of a serious problem? Should I go to the ER?

hey hun, so how did everything sort out? Hormones are a tricky thing, they can do all kinds of weird things to our body. I was prescribed lo loestrin as well to treat endo, and i'm not sure if I should take it.

Actually, both of those are generics for the brand names Loestrin and Microgestin. Generics all have their own names but from a chemical standpoint, the active ingredients are identical to the name brand. Where Junel and Blisovi differ is just in the inactive ingredients.

Interesting. Did you have weight gain issues? I ask because I don't (and when I do gain weight, it's in my legs- I have permanent cankles regardless of my weight).
