I misplaced my list i was given, i remember robitussin being on list but if i remember correctly there was a certain point of pregnancy where its not safe.

There are otc medicines u are aloud to take. Like mucinex dm and tylenol sinus and cold. Call ur ob dr and ask them for a complete list. They will tell u.

My doctor gave me a list of approved medicines, however it says to avoid during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Here are a few of the items on the list. I don't know about home remedies but you aren't suppose to take medicines. Your allowed lozenges and for your Jose humidifier, nose spray saline solution. It really *****! I've had a cold twice lasted a week each. Lots of Lipton soup!!

Hey there. First congrats on pregnancy. Second I am just not having a good time either at the moment. One infection after another.. All lower too. So here's a few things to try.. Put some Vicks ina bowl under a radiator and shut the door for an hour. Also try steaming the bathroom before you have a bath. Take paracetamol and drink hot milk with half a sugar. Also rest as much as poss.

Call you care provider. They should give you a list of what they consider ok. And as for home remedies, no caffeine peppermint tea, warm baths, lots of water, soup, pedyalite, and steam treatments.

They gave me IV fluid to help me feel a little better for now and told my tylonal every four hours and a list of alcohol free cough medicines. My doctor gave me a list of medicines I am allowed to take if needed while pregnant. I have a really bad cold and cough. I've been trying to get rid of it naturally by drinking tea and eating cough drops but it's been bad for the last week and now my throat is more sore than it was before. It said on the list I'm allowed to take liquid robitussin but I'm really nervous about taking it.. Has anyone else been told that robitussin is fine? Or have taken it while pregnant?

Sudafed 25mg of benedryl. Afrin can be used sparingly. And drink lots of fluids.

as well as afrin and a couple of allergy medicines (not all allergy medicines though)...every pregnancy is different though and every Dr is different as to what they prefer so I would definitely call.

I am also 8 weeks and saw my doctor Friday. He gave me a list of "medications in pregnancy". For colds it lists: sudafed, actifed, zyrtec, Tylenol cold, vitamin c, chlortrimaton, and increasing fluids... For cough: plain robitussin & cough drops... Benadryl is on the list under insomnia or itching... If you're Leary about any of these (as the list surprised me as well) I would reccomend checking with your doctor. My midwife gave me a list of stuff u can take while pregers for decongestants u can take mucinex or sudafed for coughs robitussin dm or pe if its a cold its ok to take tylenol cold too theres other stuff too but idk whats wrong with u other than cough and congestion hope its of some help though

Sane remedies apply lots of rest fluids etc. U can use Vicks vapor rub, cough drops, extra strengyh Tylenol, vicks 44 cough, robitussin and Tylenol cold severe.

You can take ANY tylenol product according to my drs...i have a list and tylenol cold and tylenol sinus are on there...hope you feel better!!

Take tylonal cold/flu and vitamin c, and drink Orange juice and get as much sleep as you can. That's what my doctor said bc im 38 weeks and had a cold for a week. I don't know if robitussun is to good for you while your pregnant.

My doctor gave me a list of medicines you can take during pregnancy for a cough ot says you can take robitussin and robitussin dm. But you can ask your dr if youre really worried.
