i tried l tryptophan, but it absorbs poorly and gave me weird mild brain shocks, but it also had this very very mild psychedelic feeling/visual thing that felt quite natural where I was more aware of the room. some guy on
erowid said the same, like he became aware of the electronics in his room, not totally sure if this would be good for it though long term.
anyway once again thanks for the refresh of information, my gp said to avoid 5htp, after looking into it yeah it's probably best.
