I feel like my vitamins and prenatals are making me nauseous and have headaches. All i wana do is sleep to forget. Dr gave me calcium 2 a day, ferrous sulfate for iron deficiency 3 a day, laxative pill, folic acid 3 a day, fish oil pills 3 a day... isnt too much iron bad for you? And i thought this was soo much. Iam 8 wks pregnant not knowing what to expect (my first child) iam 31yrs old. Omg my breasts are so tender and i have implants too. They feel so hard. Does anyone have this problem?
Hey ladies just a small question! So the prenatal vitamins I am currently taken prescribed by my doctor are absolutely awful! I cannot take them without gaging and throwing up. I feel sick about an hour later and it lasts throughout the whole day. I've been doing research about different vitamins I could take and I found the most best one seems to be belly bar which is a chewable prenatal vitamin. But I was wondering if anyone takes other vitamins that isn't a huge horse pill?
I take my prenatal vitamins with different stuff but water like apple juice orange juice & yogurt cause when I take it with water it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth .
The liquid that surrounds the baby is the amniotic fluid.the baby will get all the vitamins it needs from you and your body. The vitamins are there to replace what the baby take.
If they are like mine the vitamins are actually in the horse size pills. The liquid gels are just a booster. You could probably take the booster with a gummy vitamin. Gummies don't tend to have iron in them.
I just found out I'm expecting last night!! Yay!! Super excited. I called my ob/ gyn doctor for appointment this morning but they won't have any openings until 1 week and a half from now but I want to start taking prenatal vitamins so I can be taking something. What vitamins do y'all recommend. I'm 24 yrs old. :)
Thank you.
I got gummy prenatal vitamins that taste like lemon and raspberry from riteaid. I recommend them since they don't make you feel sick like other prenatal vitamins do.
Well, I should say, unless you use liquid vitamins, but they are seldom all that complete and once in liquid form they are much more prone to rapid oxidation and deterioration, so I personally don't use them.
I have read on this forum that Vitamin C aids iron absorption. The liquid iron I take has Vitamin C in it as as a B vitamins. When consuming foods with iron how does one know what to consume that contains enough vitamin C to help the body absorb the iron?
I am a vegetarian with hypothyroidism. I am not on thyroid medication. I understand iron is important to thyroid function. I'm trying to support my thyroid by increasing my ferretin (iron). My iron stores are reduced.
So then called my nurse ... She said I might js have some kinda gassy problem.. and wants me to do a liquid diet nd see if my tummy can take it ? I mean I thought wen ur pregnant there's no such thing as 'diet'. Idk but I have to eat real food for me to survive ..
I was put on potassium pills because of my heart and that was the only thing low when I had a minor heartattack. I have noticed that when I take the potassium pills I am more energetic all day long.
If I try to take a multivitimin then it makes me sick or makes my heart race. I wish I could find one that I could take.
Yeah if u can't keep down the prenatal vitamins just buy the gummies vitamins its pretty much the same thing and a lot easier than trying to keep down the prenatal vitamins.
