Liquid vitamins infants

Common Questions and Answers about Liquid vitamins infants

Avatar n tn Hi, I am not sure if any of you have tried alternative supplements, but I would start by giving your babies an epsom salt bath, then add a good multivitamin with minerals to their diet, and if they havn't started eating yet avoid giving them gluten and dairy. If they already do eat then avoid the sugars, gluten, processed foods, you know all the bad stuff. Also one that I found to helpful was liquid b-complex vitamins.
Avatar f tn Is it normal for the prenatal vitamins to make your stomach feel like butterflies?

Avatar f tn -) very gentle on tummy bc they are liquid gels and my pb was very happy and impressed with my choice on those she said they are a great brand :-)
Avatar f tn Hey ladies just a small question! So the prenatal vitamins I am currently taken prescribed by my doctor are absolutely awful! I cannot take them without gaging and throwing up. I feel sick about an hour later and it lasts throughout the whole day. I've been doing research about different vitamins I could take and I found the most best one seems to be belly bar which is a chewable prenatal vitamin. But I was wondering if anyone takes other vitamins that isn't a huge horse pill?
Avatar f tn Or try nature made liquid gels they are great I love them. I a day no chewing they are liquid gels so much easier on tummy and easier to digest.
Avatar f tn I take my prenatal vitamins with different stuff but water like apple juice orange juice & yogurt cause when I take it with water it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth .
12162520 tn?1426012596 The liquid that surrounds the baby is the amniotic fluid.the baby will get all the vitamins it needs from you and your body. The vitamins are there to replace what the baby take.
Avatar f tn You can get some excellent liquid vitamins at the health food store.
689528 tn?1364135841 What you feel the need but I will tell you that not all babies can take vitamins and most go out as waste and are not absorbed. ONly whole food suppliments are aborbed in the body and their are no liqud ones. I had a 30 weeker and my milk was tested befoer they gave her polyvisol in the NICU. It was automatically given to formula fed babies but not breastfed abbies. My milk was fine, You can hve your milk tested if you think baby is not getting enough of something!
Avatar f tn What other supplements/vitamins are you ladies taking or suggest to take besides prenatals? !
Avatar f tn If they are like mine the vitamins are actually in the horse size pills. The liquid gels are just a booster. You could probably take the booster with a gummy vitamin. Gummies don't tend to have iron in them.
Avatar f tn I just found out I'm expecting last night!! Yay!! Super excited. I called my ob/ gyn doctor for appointment this morning but they won't have any openings until 1 week and a half from now but I want to start taking prenatal vitamins so I can be taking something. What vitamins do y'all recommend. I'm 24 yrs old. :) Thank you.
Avatar f tn I got gummy prenatal vitamins that taste like lemon and raspberry from riteaid. I recommend them since they don't make you feel sick like other prenatal vitamins do.
Avatar n tn Well, I should say, unless you use liquid vitamins, but they are seldom all that complete and once in liquid form they are much more prone to rapid oxidation and deterioration, so I personally don't use them.
Avatar n tn Anything to do instead of the prenatal vitamins? I hate taking pills and I always forget. I wish they had chewables. Thanx for any replies!
4274823 tn?1388529098 I have read on this forum that Vitamin C aids iron absorption. The liquid iron I take has Vitamin C in it as as a B vitamins. When consuming foods with iron how does one know what to consume that contains enough vitamin C to help the body absorb the iron? I am a vegetarian with hypothyroidism. I am not on thyroid medication. I understand iron is important to thyroid function. I'm trying to support my thyroid by increasing my ferretin (iron). My iron stores are reduced.

599170 tn?1300973893 I was put on potassium pills because of my heart and that was the only thing low when I had a minor heartattack. I have noticed that when I take the potassium pills I am more energetic all day long. If I try to take a multivitimin then it makes me sick or makes my heart race. I wish I could find one that I could take.
Avatar f tn Yeah if u can't keep down the prenatal vitamins just buy the gummies vitamins its pretty much the same thing and a lot easier than trying to keep down the prenatal vitamins.
