For those of you who have been through a total thyroidectomy, I know that you fast from midnight on, and then they said it's a liquid diet the next day. I am prediabetic and have reactive hypoglycemia, and it's bad so I need to eat every 2 hrs. or so. (very difficult for me to fast) I don't eat any sugar or artificial sweetners. I have some low glycemic fruit, but fruit juices are too full of sugar. What type of liquids do they give you?

hey had tooth removed today or technically had twisted gross broken root remove today and my Dr told me liquid diet for three days and i am trying to follow that to the letter because this is the worse tooth issue I have ever had to deal with and don't want it to get worse in anyway, so my question to you is what are some ideas for liquid diets that i could drink before my pills so there is something in my stomach so I am not any sicker then I have to be.

I got up from the couch and when I did a small amount of clear , warm liquid ran down my leg. I thought I pees my self or a lot of discharge? But it doesn't smell like pee? Or like discharge? When i get an ear ache I take 2 Advil and lay down for about 2 hours with a hot water bottel the old fashion rubber ones. I boil my water , pour it in and wrap the water bottel in a thin towel and rest my ear on it. You can put some vaporRub in top of your nose and chest I will help you breath better at night. For the sore throat try one teaspoon of honey with some lemon drops and drink lots of water. Stay hydrated.

For one, it tastes awful, and second, it's terrible for you. I cannot understand any reason for someone to drink that crap. There's no benefit to it at all. Why not just drink water, or juice? Sparkling water if you "need" carbonation. Artificial sweeteners make me feel like I'm catching a flu.
