I am 25 male and been on lipitor 20mg for almost 2 months. No side effects.

Hair loss from Lipitor happens in patients in .1% to 1% of users. You should mention it to his doctor as there are other statins that are not as likely to have this side effect.

How long after taking gabapentin will the side effects last. I have hair loss. I stopped taking gabapentin about four or five months ago.

No one told me about lipitor side effects. I literally felt like my body was freezing up. When I Googled it, they referenced ALS like symptoms. This really blew my mind. (spill the wine). They say it may take a month or longer to feel a little bit better. The blood work being ok is a big thing all of a sudden. I have a low grade side effect. I'm weaning off trazodone now, next neurontin, then nortripyline. Maybe. Better days ahead. Maybe...

Hair loss is sometimes a side effect of taking beta blockers. Not sure if there's a way to stop that other than changing medications. You have normal sinus rhythm but it's fast? How fast? s merely the remnants of a cold. However, I am losing an insane amount of hair, above the average hair loss due to postpartum. Is this the combo of thyroid, meds and postpartum... I used both, and found that side effects are similar; tiredness, weight gain, and a slow pulse. Side effects are more pronounced as the dosage is increased. I had dosages from 25mg to 200mg. daily. Other reported effects are loss of libido, tightness in the chest, itching, irregular breathing, and irregular heartbeat. I have been reading the posts on here about post treatment side effects and I was wondering how many of you have had severe hair loss? I only treated for 24 weeks but had lots of problems throughout treatment. I am 2 and half months post tx. Anyhow my hair will grow for about 4 to 7 days max then it falls back out. Hello, I was just reading about an older dog having a problem with urinary incontinence and the treatment she was given, particularly the possible side effects. My White Bearded Collie (13 years old) started being incontinent last year and my vet has prescribed INCURIN 1mg daily. This has been mostly effective (just the odd occurrence when she was asleep or distressed). I was just concerned that it may have some serious side effects such as those mentioned for the other treatment (PPA).

Check out the side-effects of Lipitor. That particular statin has a lot of side-effects, some very serious. There is a website (not sure of the web address but you can Google it) called Stopped Our Statins. There is a lot of good information on there. I would look at the side-effects of the Lipitor before panicking that it might be something else. There are many new statins out there that don't cause so many side-effects. Hope this helps.

I was in the same boat. Come to find out Metformin and Lipitor side effects are diahrrea and due to that you will lose some weight. Both medication targets weight loss my Doctor says, no need to be alarmed. It's safe.

m saying that in the case of statins, the effects have been proven to NOT be accumulative. Side effects almost always present in the first 90 days. I'm sure there are some situations where that is not the case.

Are you experiencing any muscle pain or any other symptoms? Hair loss is a serious side effect with both those tablets,I would see doctor to come off this tablet under supervision and try something else in its place and deal with hair loss too.
