d like to avoid possible interactions when we choose a multivitamin. She has also had triple bypass surgery and has some high blood pressure but is otherwise in very good shape and very active. I already know that high amounts of certain supplements like vitamin K and iron should be avoided when taking blood thinners but what other vitamins or minerals should be avoided?
Likewise, I was never told to avoid taking anything with my levothyroxine besides food and calcium/multivitamin (basically just not at the same time, but I could still have a multivitamin). I've also never had a problem taking benedryl (besides that it knocks me out) or any other drug with my hypothyroid meds.

It's not that you can't take aspirin at all. All ssris have a warning about interactions with all NSAIDS, not just aspirin. You just have to be aware of bruising that might indicate excessive bleeding. So you have to be careful. Don't know about food interactions, I wasn't told of any. Lots of weight gain possible, however, so watch the fat and sugar and be careful with diet. I think you're thinking more of the MAO inhibitors, they have lots of food contraditions.
I have noticed that my Lipitor bottle suggests that it should be taken during the evening meal. What is the reason/advantage of this timing?

I take Hydrocodone 10/500-4 times a day, Soma 350mg-4 times a day, Celexa 20mg-once a day, Lipitor 20mg-once a day, Enjuvia 0.9mg-once a day, Motrin 1600mgs a day, Asprin 350mg-4 times a day, all these everyday for over a year. I had to take pain management urine drug test and it tested positive for Benzodiazepines and they said my Soma didn't show up at all.
my husband (60) has Type II diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol which are being managed very well by Lipitor, Lisenpril, Actos and Metformin. I started thinking back, since menopause, I started on several meds, on of which was lipitor. Not one doctor said it could be the lipitor i was taking causing the hives. On my own a week ago, I stopped the lipitor and the lipitor only. For the first time in 5 yrs i have no more hives. Why is there not more articles published or side effects like mine posted for lipitor??? What is your feeling on the hives from Lipitor??
