I already know that high amounts of certain supplements like vitamin K and iron should be avoided when taking blood thinners but what other vitamins or minerals should be avoided? I've read that high amounts of vitamin E can cause problems but since the dose will be devided she'll only be getting around 133 iu.

While I can't speak specifically about the statin drugs, I can tell you personally that anything that I take to make my blood "thinner", like vitamin E, fish oils, and maybe flaxseed oil too seem to exacerbate my pvcs. Fish oils cause me the most increase so I stay away from them. I think I have actually found the same with CoQ10 so it's not in my cabinet any more either.
The Vitamin E overdose effect occurs when more than 1,000mg of Vitamin E is taken per day. Acute vitamin E toxicity effects include nausea, gastric distress, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, headache, fatigue, easy bruising and bleeding, inhibition of platelet aggregation, diplopia, muscle weakness, and creatinuria.

Hello; I have got one coronary DES stent implanted since two month ago ("Endeavor RESOLUTE RX"). I am on clopidogrel, aspirin, atorvastatin, carvedilol, enalapril and pantoprazol. Fearing about scars growing inside the stent's mesh, I have read that some people recommend vitamin E for cosmetic appearance of scars; well, my question is: Could vitamin E be of some help for preventing "in-stent restenosis"? what happen for me im obese before then I lost weight and become normal bmi 23 I take glucophage and birth control pills vit e and vit c for 6 month then following month I stop glucophage and birth control pills I get normal menstrual cycle for six month only I take vit e and vit c continue exercise normal bmi after 6month I notice that my period are starting to delay in a days or a week now 4month I never used any vitamin or any medicine.
