Cholesterol meds can cause muscle weakness and pain. No matter what you're on in the future, make sure the doc checks your enzyme levels regularly.
What is your age? Are you taking any meds? Any major health issues? Did you take enhancement pills?
Four weeks post procedure I developed severe leg cramps and groin and back pain. Stopping Lipitor helped the cramps, but the groin pain is ongoing and worsening. It primarily hurts when I sit, but has started to ache when I walk the past week. Primary Care Doctor thinks it might be a hernia (although he can't feel anything) and said to give it two weeks. The pain seems to move from the groin area (near the incision, which has healed) up about 3 or 4 inches and radiates to my back.
Did they call it diabetic gastroparesis? I suspect that's what his diagnosis is, and it's not something you should forget because without it, people are starting over if you want help. Diabetes can damage a digestive nerve and cause gastroparesis. I don't think there is anything that can help the nerve once it's damaged, but controlling blood sugar is important. You could see if probiotics or digestive enzymes help, but it may not.
it was bad enough that I soaked in a tub to get rid of it. So I had nerve sensations now in both hands on and off and now my legs.
My Doctor has me tested for liver function...everything ok...kidneys through urine...everything ok....
He even tested for syphillis.....because of the spots.....ok but he is retesting.
I saw him today and he is testing CPK for possible Lipitor problems.
I am off Lipitor.
My question to you...what would be your take

I switch my statin to lipitor 20mg about a month ago and I have noticed that my upper arms muscles gave me a very unusual pain especially when I stretch them even a little. Since than I have gain almost 2kg. What should I do. My next medical appointment is in July. To go to the emergency or to seek for another doctor?
My father is 51 years old now and in August 2008 had a heart attack,the doctor advised him to use lipitor,lowplat.mepresor and loprine, his ALT and AST count in november 2008 was 30 and 22 respectively, by the use of lipitor his ALT ans AST count raised to 2246 and 1280 ... clearly above normal... doctor advised him t leave the use of lipitor. my question t you is ... by leaving lipitor will the count decrease?? or what should be done??
its started after i gt acid reflux. and i also got high blood cholestrol. my BP and diabetic is normal and most of the time i worried about my health and cant relax. i already do a anxiety test in online and the result come around 80% and its prove that i got anxiety , is this caused by anxiety or something else??
It is almost like a numb like feeling maybe a slight tingling. ...but it comes and goes. Could I have caused nerve damage to the area? and if so would the pain come and go as it seems to be doing on a daily basis. Sometimes it appears to get red and others it just looks like the rest of my skin. I also noticed on both corners of my mouth I have what appears to be angular chelitis.... this has been present for about 10 weeks.
This is a common complaint that is often attributed to nerves regenerating over time. Unfortunately, due to invasive surgery, tissue and nerve damage and especially if you had radiation therapy the discomfort could last for a long period of time. If your pain is constant I think you should be seen in a Pain Center, because there are definitely treatments for it.

My fingertips, lips, cheeks and back of head go numb and tingling, I have pain in my fingertips is and the pain is sometimes very intense, this lasts for several days
Food and drink tastes bland
My breathing pattern is way off, I feel out of breath and it feels like I have to manually breath where befofe it felt automatic and I didn't have to think about it.
