Avatar f tn Can you ask your surgeon how I would go about finding the most experienced person at removing implants on the West Coast? I may just go with the perio-guy, as he is does the most implant surgery in the area.
Avatar f tn Active, fit, eat well, not perfect! Love the sun. Live in the north (west coast of Canada). It seems I've tried everything, including several accupucture treatments and a years-worth of chiropractic and spinal decompression. My back is feeling much better after a lifetime of suffering but the itch, no different! Three years ago I resorted to drugs, Lyrica the first year but that made me way too groggy and out-of-it. Over time it didn't work anyway.
363682 tn?1299492962 If it has been 3 months since your last Botox Injections, you may need to go back to your neurologist for another round of injections. If it's just time for more Botox, then you might be able to have a little bit of wine again. If not, then I am sorry and I understand how you feel about this. It can all be very frustrating, but I guess it is better to make the sacrifices and not be in pain (although it doesn't make it any less frustrating!). Thanks again for writing in! Keep in touch!
Avatar n tn I thought the itching may have been a symptom of this. They put me on Humira injections and the other symptoms went away but I still cannot tan without horrible itching. I have tried Benadryl, Atarax, Xyzal, Zyrtec and nothing helped. I have no physical signs like hives or rash. I have seen an allergist and have no allergies and my thyroid and blood tests were all fine.

Avatar f tn My husband and I discovered that completely bypassing the GI tract by using reglan injections worked much better in the end. Chica didn't get the extra pyramidal side effects (extreme restlessness, shaking and trembling) from the reglan injections that she got from the oral meds. Our vet drew up a dozen or so prefilled syringes, and we administered them just under the skin at the back of the neck. If you're already doing sub-q fluids, this won't be any different.
