I had deep cleaning on my right side for my teeth I had the numbing injection on my gums but the lady who cleaned my teeth she stuck the injection needle on the inside of my lips twice my whole mouth started tingly half my nose was numb and after I got out of the dentist I had two big huge bump on my lip with blood still there where it was injected at the bump turned white it's kinda hard to eat or drink something without my lip hurting I thought that their only allowed to numb the gums not

I had a root canal done 1 week ago and my lip and teeth on my lower right side is dumb..its the tingly numbness that you have when the numbness is wearing off..What could this possible be?

Thanks NC, I understand the statistics and I am trying to just stay busy and not worry about it to much. I am a natural worrier so this is extra tough. Plus, the Dr. already said it was NOT a lymph node or cyst. Just breathe huh...that's all I gotta do for now. right?

some blood did come out, but now on this day it looks as though it could be a wart on my lip, it has the white area like a wart, there is a hole in the middle of it (an injection site), maybe it could be a bug bite ? ive been putting ACV and neosporin on it. not sure what to do. in the pics u cant really see the white circle but i assure its there (maybe in the last pic you can see it, be sure to scroll down). i am pressing my tongue against my lip to try to get it more exposed.

A while later, the dentist returned, when asked if my lower lip was numb I responded that the top was numbed, the dentist was surprised and gave me more injections and immediately began drilling. I let the dentist know that there was a lot of pain, so the dentist, I believe, gave me more injections, and then left to give the anesthesia time to work. Upon returning, my lip was numb, so the dentist began drilling again, but it was still extremely sensitive, so even more anesthesia was given.

Some PMP are no more than Shot Jocks - they make their money by repeating injection after injection - inserting SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulators) or other such treatments and never RX an opiate. That's all good if those approaches are effective in managing your pain. I have read fairly recent posts from members in NC. I hope one of them will see your post and respond. Doctors, your advice would be very much appreciated. Several weeks ago, I went in to see my dentist for a new crown. After the first injection of anesthetic didn't take, he injected me with another. In the process, a shooting electric like shock went through my lower jaw. He explained this was because he had hit the nerve but it would be alright. Since then, I have been back to him complaining of pain in my teeth along my lower jaw. The only relief I get is from ibuprofen.

( On my routine physical my doctor found a vl of 10,000. She sent me to the Kirkland Clinic (UAB, very well respected) and upon their blood test my vl has rising up to 450,000. I finished tx last September and the last check up I had before moving to AL was still no viral load:) I was one happy camper. But it has come back and I am here for some ideas because I am not too sure I agree with my new physician's treatment plan.........nothing until 2011.

anyone out there with chiari ever had there chin and lips go numb like you had went to the dentist and got an injection of novacaine i have done that two days in a row and get a headache after it and still feel weird

00 and go back to work and stay there till 06;00 PM do you think he will havre the side effects int his interval?

Most insurance companies won't cover fertility meds. My primary only covers things that need to be done (u/s to make sure I don't have cancer, pap smears, etc) but it won't cover anything that has to do with getting pregnant. So my doctor has run a lot of my tests and filed it as basic women tests (i.e. a saline u/s to make sure I don't have cancer, etc). Luckily my husbands insurance covers up to $10,000 in infertility tests, meds, etc. His is with BCBS of NC.

I had a couple cuts in my mouth near my bottom gum line, but I know that even with this, there is no risk. While kissing, he kind of grabbed my upper lip and bit it, and a small wound appeared either on my upper gum line or on my upper-inner lip (can't remember). It wasn't bleeding, but there was definitely a chunk of skin kind of missing. I remember "tasting" blood, but that could have been just my mind playing tricks on me. Is this a risk? thank you...

My concern is this must be treated with a steroid , probably Depro-medrol injection or Prednisone pills. (and I hate steroids for animals , because of their side effects), but short term this is what should heal these sores. Veterinary supervision is required because this is considered a pre-cancerous condition, and Early vigorous treatment is required. Sometimes this is an indication of a compromised immune system and your cat should be tested for the Leukemia virus.
