I had deep cleaning on my right side for my teeth I had the numbing injection on my gums but the lady who cleaned my teeth she stuck the injection needle on the inside of my lips twice my whole mouth started tingly half my nose was numb and after I got out of the dentist I had two big huge bump on my lip with blood still there where it was injected at the bump turned white it's kinda hard to eat or drink something without my lip hurting I thought that their only allowed to numb the gums not
I had a root canal done 1 week ago and my lip and teeth on my lower right side is dumb..its the tingly numbness that you have when the numbness is wearing off..What could this possible be?
well now, indeed i did learn why it must be room temp. yep, that must have been it. the cold to the muscle/skin there in the injection site. i forgot about that.

"truelove47", the spasms in this particular case is just the immediate area around the injection site and underneath the injection site. guess that area got shocked due to the cold temp of the medicine.

The nurse practioner at my doctor's diagnosed me as menopausal. Right before I got a diagnosis, my ob gyn gave me a 10 day course of progesterone and I had a period. When I sent the doctor's report to my ob gyn she asked if I had any hot flashes and I said no. She said there was nothing more they could do for me because my FSH, estrodial, LH were all high from that blood test that I had.
I haven't had a period since that last one in September (from the progesterone).
For nearly two years I have had experienced severe to chronic pain in my right eye. Over the past two years, I have seen 4 doctors, including opthamologists, optometrists, and I am currently seeing a neuro-ophthalmologist. I have had a multitude of tests including 2 MRI's. Recently I have been experiencing floaters when I have the pain. The pain is becoming more frequent and more severe. At times I also experience a sharp line of pain straight through my brain.
some blood did come out, but now on this day it looks as though it could be a wart on my lip, it has the white area like a wart, there is a hole in the middle of it (an injection site), maybe it could be a bug bite ? ive been putting ACV and neosporin on it. not sure what to do.
in the pics u cant really see the white circle but i assure its there (maybe in the last pic you can see it, be sure to scroll down). i am pressing my tongue against my lip to try to get it more exposed.
I have read about prolozone treatment by injections, and Im looking for a professional in the Boston, MA area to ask questions and most likely get treatments. The nearest professional that I have found so far is in NJ about 200 miles from me. I would like to find a professional much closer.
Has anyone had experience with Prolozone injections? Cost? Number of treatments? Location?

4) This too probably is irrelevant, certainly until the diagnosis is confirmed. In any case I am unaware of any current ongoing trials of new herpes treatments, in the Boston area or anywhere else.

I'm 58yo had a radical prostatectomy in Aug. 2008. My psa levels were checked every 6 months and would go from .01 and slowly increase usually .01 every time and sometimes down, to my latest of .25 in Jan. 2011. My Gleason was 6.5 with neg. margins. Thru out this time I've seen 3 different oncologist, including Mary Ellen Taplin at Dana Farber in Boston. I'm going to see another 1 now because my doctor suggested it. Is radiation the only treatment option I'm going to be given?

Doctors, your advice would be very much appreciated. Several weeks ago, I went in to see my dentist for a new crown. After the first injection of anesthetic didn't take, he injected me with another. In the process, a shooting electric like shock went through my lower jaw. He explained this was because he had hit the nerve but it would be alright. Since then, I have been back to him complaining of pain in my teeth along my lower jaw. The only relief I get is from ibuprofen.
I was never advised of the risks of this surgery (that I could have permanent nerve damage or that I would be left with a huge ball like scar in the center of my lip. My lip is still swollen causing my lip to be exposed to the air (it feels raw all the time). The scar is hardening and it hurts ( I can also feel a band that runs horizontel along the incision line. I have seen an example of a mucocele surgery on the internet and it looks nothing like what this oral surgeon did to me.

Can anyone recommend a neurosurgeon who specializes in Chiari near Boston? I’ve seen a neurologist who just wanted to give me occipital nerve blocks and a general neurosurgeon in NH and he told me that I’m fine, and I’m totally not fine! The Joslin Diabetes Clinic in Boston is #1 on alot of peoples books...I know that the care and advice that I have received there has been the utmost...All I can do is recommend but if u want to feel like ur in good hands...give them a call....
Does anybody know of a good chiari specialist in the Boston area that listens and can think outside of the box? I am definitely not a "textbook" case but truly believe I have a Chiari 0 or at least definite crowding that is causing tremendous neurological disability. I also have an unfused arch of c-1 and retroflexed odontoid that I swear pokes into my brainstem and have had a PT assess me as having a craniocervical instability.
