Common Questions and Answers about Lip implant surgery cost

lip

Avatar f tn This has resulted in a 100% improvement in the pain and feverish feeling emanating from THAT tooth, but I still have an strange irritating sensation emanating from the implant that extends to the cheek, nostril, and eye above the implant. I have a feeling the implant is the cause of the mouth trouble and wondering if it is the cause of my neurological symptoms as well. My physical activity has been reduced to a minimum compared to the level of physical activity previous to the surgery.
Avatar f tn slept mostly after surgery (8am) but woke up later in the afternoon and noticed the left side of chin/lip from corner of mouth to center of chin/lip was numb. This was different than the other side that was no longer feeling the anesthesia. Day 2: No pain. The left side of chin and lip from the corner to the center of the jaw is STILL numb. My extraction sites are a bit sore but no real pain to speak of.
1737348 tn?1312916526 I had chronic pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia for years but managed it somewhat. Four years ago I had an implant put into my thumb joint. Long, long story short ... 8 surgeries and countless procedures later, I'm still reeling from it. I have RSD now and it's spread, but not to the extent yours has. Presently I'm working on reducing my narcotic medications to see if I can reassess the pain.
Avatar n tn I'd strongly advise you to wait on one or the other. Implant surgery is a long and involved process and with all the possible sides from tx, that could really be difficult to try to deal with both. Also your immune system's ability to fight infrection and your recovery time can be slowed by tx. I'd either do the tx and then when you are done do the implants or vica versa but I wouldn't do both at the same time.
Avatar f tn I hope that Google will not require surgery. I just wanted to share this story because I still cannot believe that people can be so cruel as to hurt an innocent cat.
Avatar n tn I am trying to really make sure I need this surgery even though it is laporoscopic surgery. It is still surgery so I am afraid. How do I know that this is what's causing my ear infections??
748543 tn?1463449675 First, understand that at this stage of your development there are skeletal issues that we can not undo, unless you don’t mind having double jaw surgery. However, you can make things better quite a bit. Most of your complaints are muscular in nature. That means that if we bring your daily function into a more physiologic position you should get a lot of relief. When I look at all the things you have done and are doing, I get jealous.
Avatar f tn With the retinal issues, I'm not going with a multi-focal because of the reduced contrast sensitivity and because they can interfere with any future retinal surgery. The only adaptive IOL in the US is still Crystalens. I've talked with doctors here that say they most patients don't really get much accommodation with it. I've seen many reports of patients having worse vision with Crystalens than they had before the surgery.
1074733 tn?1256235219 I sat in the chair, started to cry, became hysterical and started screaming at him! I demanded an answer. I demanded an exploratory surgery to open me up and see what was going on in there. It was the first time in my life that I didn't care what I said, who I said it to or what they thought of me. He sat there wide-eyed in shock. This had been my doctor for 6 years who knew me as a shy woman who never questioned anything he said. He left the room and made a couple of phone calls.
Avatar n tn I have spent thousands already and if I get a second opinion from another endo what will that cost? Can anyone help me with getting my original endodontist to open up this tooth and use the magnifier to check for cracks or is there another specialist I should see. I am going crazy here! I can't belive all the trouble I am having trying to figure this out on my own and I can't believe my endos advice.
Avatar n tn More cavities than ever before, gum seperation, teeth worn down and staining. Finally after 12-14 pieces a day and over $100 in cost a month (comperable to cost of cigarettes a month, why aren't these things cheaper? Nicorette must be raking it in at our expense) I'd had enough. Additionally, the self-hatred you feel addicted to cigarettes is the same with the gum. The constant need for a piece of gum is classic addiction.
Avatar m tn As you can see by the hundreds of comments, the Flip-Turn Sinus Flush works extremely well for chronic bacterial infections of the upper sinuses, replacing antibiotics and surgery in most instances. For infections of the lower sinuses, I recommend the Neilmed Sinus Rinse--available at most pharmacies--as it requires less effort and risk.
458090 tn?1256324762 He is ok with traveling back home for my Retrieval... But It will cost us an arm and a leg to fly from Omaha back to our hometown in Florida. I don't need this right now!!!
299260 tn?1304219705 and take the progesterone right away! Really take it easy over the tww and let the little guy implant really good!! Avatar f tn I showed a dermatologist what I was doing, and she said I am pulling out the actual sebaceous glands! This is self-surgery, and very dangerous. Spirano-Lactone is a wonderful drug for calming this condition.
Avatar n tn I bought it at Rite Aid, which is a nation wide drug store chain and it cost $29.0 0 for a bottle of 100. You take 3 a day. So it's a month a month supply.BTW I have no connection with this co at all...other than hoping like heck that it will work for me! According to the posts, if you take these 3 xs a day, a person can get relief in as little as 2 weeks, but the box says take it for 6 months to be sure it's replenished the nutrients you are missing] Now here's how I'm thinking..
1417531 tn?1365601325 I take cronine (progesterone) it's a cream that you insert, but you have to walk around for it to work ...
Avatar n tn i also have subcutaneous cysts, my doctor said... i was at the gyno and freaked out cause there was a bump on my lip... it got really sore but wasn't an actual sore. it was deep under and went away after a while (the hormones in the pill definitely have an affect on the entire vagina... cysts of any type can be caused from change in levels of hormones). i've been off and on two types of b.c. since the cyst, i hate it...
1055869 tn?1294203119 After the disappointment we went through with the IVF, we decided to visit a new urologist in January of this year for a second opining. He told her the problem my husband had was fixable. Surgery happened in February and husband fully recovered only to find out that I had a less than welcoming cervix. So that's how we ended up doing IUI. All: I appreciate the warm wishes from all.
Avatar n tn The only problem with this is the cost and your providers attitude. If I was paying out of pocket I would really want to be sure this was right for me. Second if your doctor will listen to you and remove it if you request them to, then I would go for it. The key for me was being able to look online and see that the symptoms I had were shared by other women. So many posts talk about women that were in pain for many months before doing anything about it.
Avatar n tn My doctor actually told me to stick with the gold bond if it works, but that's treating the symptoms...sigh. I just had a run of anti biotics after a surgery, wouldn't that take care of any kind of BI/yeast/uti??
604185 tn?1233964457 I was told that frozen embies can take a little longer than fresh to implant so don't go by your last cycle .. I am so sorry for your loss ... it is such a hard thing to have to go through!! I hope you get your BFP on Saturday! I had my FET today and all seemed to go well .. thaw was fine and now just have to wait till 1 Nov for my beta .. I will most likely buckle and test sometime next week as I'm useless at waiting for anything!
Avatar n tn I have three children already oldest is 3 and the young 8mths. I have got pregnant on the pill, the implant (in the arm)...and im scared im pregnant again. I had a home preg test which came up neg, then a week later it came up lightly positive. Just to make sure i took another one three days later and it came up neg.....what is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
162948 tn?1205256292 each month i feel pregnant and each month i have had an implantation bleed i think but it is as though the fertilized egg can't implant properly. does anyone have experience of this? does anyone know how long the effects of the hormone last on the endometrium? i'm panicking that if i do conceive, i'll miscarry too. any thoughts?
Avatar n tn I also have been getting these fissures for the past few months pretty regularly, with a few weeks/days of no symptoms. It first started when I had surgery and developed an infection and was then put on antibiotics, to clear it up. After taking the medication for a few days, I developed the worst yeast infection that was so sore and swollen. I also developed fissures that it was nearly impossible to use soap, because it burned so bad.
