The first few days, when I moved them, lines would appear and they looked like they lost shape a bit on the top lip. They look better now, and lines went away, but they're still not the same as they were before. Do you think I have I lost some collagen or elasticity? Could that happen to someone my age? (I'm 18.) I know it sounds funny that I think it might have been what I did, but they were fine before I did that.

When i was like, 4-5 a dog bit me on the lip and kinda ripped it a little and left a scar. It looks like a bump on my lip and then theres a little line right above my lip from it. i really want it to go away! Im 14 now and it still hasnt gone away. Everytime i meet somebody new, they ask about it and its really embarassing. PLEASEE HELP!

I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing. I want a product I can stick to. SO PLEASE what would you recommend I buy and how should I use it.

I had metacril injections two weeks ago in Costa Rica to my lips and nasalabial folds. The metacril in the bottom lip has now turned into hard bumps, which I think was the result of going and having my teeth whitened afterwards and the Zoom laser hitting that area so long. Has anyone else had experience with metacril? Any recommended plastic surgeons in the Dallas area I can go to and follow up with this issue? Thanks!

I've had this happen, and am somewhat confused by what causes it. I'm thinking I've become sensitive to certain products (lip gloss, sunscreen. other face creams). My lips look like I got collagen shots, except they are red and splotchy and itch, so it isn't a good look. I started using a gentle facial cleanser and avoid getting any type of product near my lips. All sorts of things are possible for side effects.

i also had a skin sensitivity test tell me i am allergic to lanolin which is in a lot of lip products so i avoided those (even though it didnt seem to make much of a difference). now i did and am currently still taking measures to ensure that they don’t flare up again.

At first I thought the bumps were from an allergic reaction to any lip products I was using, so I switched and got all new products. I also thought the were a reaction to the sun, so I used lip products with spf. None of these things have made them go away and now I'm really starting to get worried. I see that there are several different types of BioSil. I see you used the drops. Knowing myself I wouldn't be able to use those. I checked to see if they had capsules and they do, but there are several different kinds. Can you tell me what was in your product or which of the other BioSil products would be the same.

Hello.....I was dx with Pars Planitis (both eyes) back in Sept of 2015. I was also dx with Sjogren's Syndrome (via lip biopsy) on 4/22/16. I have not yet started on any medications for SS. My next Rheumy appt is 5/6 and I am assuming I will be started on meds then (currently experiencing CHRONIC dry mouth, fatigue, muscle/joint aches). I have asked several questions before about PP.....what I am curious about now is this.......I have read that SS is an inflammatory illness.

Then I read about applying honey, which seemed to lessen the burn, but after a day they started to burn like before. Perhaps I applied the products too often? I found Neosporin Lip Health, Overnight Renewal Therapy (with white petroleum) and it has seemd to help as lips not as red or burning. I recently began going for facials and my aesthetician told me to stop using my retinol products, as she said it ages and thins the skin. She recommends glycolic peels instead. This is contrary to everything I've heard. I thought retinol thickened the skin and stimulated collagen growth, and glycolic peels thinned the skin. Am I mistaken?
