I'm 49yo. I woke this afternoon with a tiny non painful blister in my mouth on my bottom lip near the top of the lip, which looks like it is filled with blood, I've had chapped lips lately, I also had some kind of intestinal flu in the last couple of days, although the worst part is gone. I have some what I think are acid blisters on my tongue, 2 to be exact, which mostly occurs when I eat foods high in some type of acid. What causes the blister on my lower lip?
My left hand was slightly moist after rubbing her groin. Today I have a fever blister on my upper lip, basically in the same location and of the same look & feel that I have had throughout my life.
I have also been under IMMENSE stress lately with work, which I suppose may contribute to a normal lip fever blister.
My question is whether I could have contracted some kind of "new" herpes from this girl?
Thats very interesting, as my boyfriend was diagnosed around that time for mono as well, I never got tested and I just recently have developed cold-sore fever blister type things on my lip as well. I've never had any previous coldsores ect except for one time I was very very sick I remember having them. Does your partner have them? Mine has had 1 on each side of his mouth for quite some time, but we thought they were from his daily exposure to the sun and elements.
I have a red patch on my upper lip that is red, dry, but no blister and does not itch. It burns when I get somethign acidic on it. I noticed that I had a blister under my tongue a few day ago. My upper lip feels a bit tight, like after getting windburn. I did have a scab over the area, like a layer of soft skin. I'm 51 years old, female.
About 2 months ago I got a red blood blister on my bottom lip, a month went by and I didnt really think too much about it and left it.....after that it was annoying me and I decided that my best option would be to pop the blister to get rid of it. I know now that this was a very bad decision!! The blister formed into a scab which bled a couple more times when I caught the scab....it looked very unsightly and my friend advised the best thing to do is put on some blistex.

Hey, I think I know what you mean. My 3 year old daughter has a tiny white blister on her upper lip. It just showed up about 1 1/2 months ago, and it doesn't seem to cause her any pain at all. I guess it could be a cold sore, but this isn't a sore....it's just a tiny white blister. I hope it goes away on it's own. I will ask her Dr. next time I go in with the kids. I'll let you know what I find out, and please do the same for me!
About 6 days ago I was watching Seinfeld and eating 2 overly salted cucumbers and when I got to the bottom of the bowl I felt the left side of my bottom lip go numb and tingly and when I looked in the mirror I found there was a clear blister that had formed on the inner part of my bottom lip on the left side. By the following morning the blister had downgraded in size but was still quite blatantly a blister. It was now a clearish/white color and wasn't really all that painful.

Never had a cold sore and only one outbreak genitally, which was primary outbreak. Three days ago I developed a red pimple on my lip. My lips are dry so I had tingling from an area I pulled skin off of. But now this pimple in the lower lip towards the corner. I am wondering if it could be a cold sore. It's a dark pink color hard to touch and hurts. Been there three days and never blisters still hard and sore.

I'm not sure what this is but recently I got elbowed in the face playing basketball. Now when I was elbowed, my bottom lip was elevated to a certain position where the ends of my teeth touched the gum fairly close. And so, getting elbowed in the face caused some flesh in my mouth to be cut off. I'm not sure if this was the problem, I can't really identify the problem on my lip. The only cause I can think of is that I was elbowed in the face.
I have a blister inside my upper lip and it has blistered, burst, healed, blistered, burst, healed etc. for a year and a half now. The healing only lasts for a single day. In one week it will have gone through two cycles. It is painful to brush my teeth and sometimes to eat and I have to avoid drinks that are citric. I have been to the doctor several times and three months ago he finally took a good look with a light and saw it. He promised to refer me to a specialist but nothing has happened.
About 12 days ago I noticed my bottom lip started to swell. I had just used a new lipstick, the kind that stains the lips then you put on a clear coat. I have been using this type for many months. The lip was stinging, & burning along with the swelling. I also thought this was a reaction to some antibiotics I was on. I have never had this happen before. Now, 12 days later my lips are not swelled but they still have blisters that burn, even water from the shower burns them.
I have had a "blood blister" on my bottom lip for more than a year now. It sort of gets better in the winter time. I remember going to a dermatologist once when I was younger and him giving me steroids for it and it kind of went away, but not all the way. My bottom lip is very sensitive to foods that are acidic and spicy. Toothpaste kills! I do have Polymorphous light eruption and I am wondering if it has anything to do with it? Or maybe if it's Bullous Pemphigoid?
hi and welcome, I hope we can help you and kitty out with some answers. allergies to diet can cause many symptoms. I will give you a site with some pictures for you to compare, kitties blister could well be ECG or eosinophilic granuloma complex....indolent ulcer.

I noticed a single painless blister on my lip 24 hours ago. I believe that it developed after trying to rip skin from my lip with my teeth two days and pulling skin of my lip manually a couple of days ago because of chapped lips. However, I was really suprised to see a blister develop. As I stated, it is a single painless blisterin the center of my my lip, not along the edge or corner of my mouth.
