Common Questions and Answers about Lip augmentation permanent

Avatar n tn I'm interested in having lip augmentation. My question is: Is there a suitable injection that can be done on my lips that is not permanent so that I can "test the waters" before having the augmentation? I have orthodontic surgery at age 30, wearing braces for 5 years. My teeth look great. But now I have no upper lip and what I do have looks like I've been a smoker. I have lots of lines. I've tried over the counter products with no success.

Serious permanent damage where treatment has been delayed has been reported in men but not in women. Furthermore, the association between congenital clitoromegaly and priapism has also not been reported previously. With this concern in mind, we felt justified to resort to management options described for male priapism but hitherto not for female priapism, i.e.
Avatar n tn My dad is Italian, so I got his darker skin, but the hair came with it- my little sister has it too, lots on her legs, a bit of upper lip, starting on her stomach and back, and she's only 9. But I have a feeling she'll have it worse because she has lighter skin then I do, so it'll be more obvious. I wear a one piece suit, I worry about people seeing the hair on my face, and though there is an awesome guy interested in me, I'm afraid that if he found out, he would be disappointed.
Avatar n tn If it works and is permanent, I think its worth the wait and the money but again at this time I am very anxious. I wish I knew from place to place what the differences were. I'm assuming the chemical is all the same and perhaps the amount they inject each time varies? See you on yahoo I hope!

Placing permanent metal dental implants in allergic patients can provoke type IV or I reactions. Avatar n tn Complications Persistent scratching can lead to a bacterial skin infection and permanent scars or changes in skin color. Treatment To stop the stubborn itch-scratch cycle, you must stop scratching the affected area. It's bound to be tough, but you can do it. And your doctor can help. Try an over-the-counter or prescription cream. Over-the-counter hydrocortisone creams or prescription steroid creams can help ease itching and inflammation.
