If the spray is a numbing agent like lidocaine, it seems like it wouldn't be harmful. But, always check with the doctor first.

is it safe to use blood clotting spray for minor wounds&cuts for warfarin user?

I use Kenergon a desensitising spray for the penis with lidocaine, except this time I certainly went overboard in the number of sprays I applied in the space of a few hours. Maybe 20 or so. My penis still doesn't feel quite right a few days later. Slight lack of sensitivity etc Will things go back to normal in a few days? Or is this something serious?

Does anyone know of a Cream, Spray or wipe that is safe & recommended to use in which to numb the skin prior to taking your weekly shots of peg Interferon?

It used to happen only at night when I lay down but now it happens during the day. I spray my throat with chloraseptic as it has lidocaine in it. The last week I woke up with terrible throat pain and swelling in my lymph notes at the sides of my throat. I couldn't talk at all for 2 days and that made it go away. But the cough is still there. I am really getting concerned.

I had my neck numbed with lidocaine, and that was a great help. I was also given a Valium 20 minutes prior to the procedure (which did nothing for me). All I felt during the FNA was pressure, really. It was incredibly sore for me afterwards, so I did a lot of icing down. I actually have a scar from my FNA (very small), but it pales in comparison to the beauty that is my TT scar! =) It was WELL worth it, though, as I just found out that my thyroid was indeed cancerous.

Idk.... I had the same with baby #1. Maybe try some lidocaine spray??? That's what they give us for vagina pain anyway after the babies born anyway, so i don't think it would hurt to try?!?

I went to my PCP yesterday and he gave me a LIDODERM, a lidocaine patch, to try and help with the pain in my neck -he thinks if that calms down so will the migraines.. theyve been everyday constantly for well over a month and a half, and no meds help.. nor do therapeutic methods i have here at home.. Has anyone here used it before? And did it help? I tried to use it last night but it wouldnt stick to my neck.

ve never felt like this before in my life, I took Ibuprofen and even used Lidocaine spray but nothing seemed to work so I laid down again on my other side until the pain disappeared and I went back to sleep. This kept happening through out the night so the next day, I decided to see my GP to get an injection for the pain since I thought it would pass. But the next day, It continued, It was even worse.

I still try to have it occasionally and sometimes use a spray with lidocaine. Every time I have sex I always bleed afterwards, not too much but it’s every single time. This is without using the spray/ unprotected/protected and using the spray. I’ve had a vaginal ultrasound in April which was normal and I’m clean for all sexual infections and have never had one. Can anyone suggest what to do or what it could be?

question for me is WHY does the throat spray numb one side of my throat almost completely yet, cause me excrutiating pain on the other? worse yet is i have this ugly red rash on my chest and under one armpit (same side of body) and these boils or large pussfilled sacs forming on my chest as well.

I started getting a sore throat yesterday. Thinking its just from my sinuses draining but the pain kept me up most of the night. Ive taken acetaminophen and it helps some but I'm wondering is I can suck on cough drops or use the numbing throat spray. i do throat clearing all the time .more throat clearing after eating. as if a small mucus is stucked in my throat,which is not comming out.i was admitted for this in hospital.they have lots of tests including ct scan of chest,mri scan of throat,barium meal,endoscopy,24 hr esophagal ph monitoring,usg,blood tests.all are normal.no GERD.what should i do now? please help me. e thing i must tell u.this started at sep.2009.

Hi, whew, that's rough. I'm sorry! So, first. Lidocaine patches. What about lidocaine cream? It's cheap, REALLY cheap. I've gotten it on Amazon for under 6 dollars a tube. You can spend more as well and it is going to last you and go a lot further than 2 patches. And I use it and it is helpful. You could look for alternatives. They also make a spray, also inexpensive. Ketamine infusions I've heard are pretty amazing.

hi there i also have a tight throat sometimes it gets really bad too its been going on for about 5 days now.The doctor perscribed me lidocaine(numbing throat sullution)and something to calm down my stomach also prevacide.I get so scared at night time ive also lost 10lbs or more cause im on a soft food/liquid diet cause im affraid im gonna choke.

My first ultra sound FNA was a done by a Radiologist. I felt the 1st stick of lidocaine. I didn't feel the other needle sticks, but felt lots of pressure. The Radiologist seemed to have lots of problems getting the needle into the nodule even though it was ultra sound guided. He poked around in me for about 25 minutes before getting a sample. I was scared to death and could feel the needle inside my throat every time I swallowed. Two days later, I was told the sample was not adequate.
