Has anyone else ever experianced this and how long does it take for the kenalog to dissolve. My vision in that eye was around 20/40 and it was believed that the kenalog could get my vision closer to 20/20. Which I was thrilled to hear but now I can not even see the eye chart.I will see my retina specialist next week. Thank you for your help.

I recently received the Kenalog injection and had a reaction (month later) i've never had an irregular menstrual cycle and after the injection i've had a second one in one month. i've had slight dizziness and elevated headaches.
The over the counter medications such as Claritin and Tylenol allergy were not helping with my allergies and my doctor decided that kenalog was the way to go. it helped with my allergies but i'm afraid of the side effects.

I take a shot every 90 days for them. The injection is kenalog. 40mg, 1cc. Since moving here from california I can not find a doctor that gives this shot. I have actually had a few say they never heard of kenalog used for allergies. Hard to believe since its in opening paragraph for kenalog under google search. Does anyone live in illinois and know where I can get this shot.
I can not sleep due to constant congestion in my sinuses. So hard to live and work in this condition.

How often can one have an injection of Kenalog? The caudal blocks and the facet injections cost over $35,000.00 when all the different factors were added in.......operating room, anesthesiologist, doctor, medications, etc. Why cannot a dermataologist just give a patient who has psoriasis these injections once or twice a year. At least the patients that it helps? I can have these expensive treatments for my back that do not really work for my back but do for the psoriasis.
I'm a 30 year old woman with nearly constant mild to moderate itching with several spurts a day of severe itching that keeps me from sleeping or focusing. It began three years ago during my 20th week of pregnancy and never left. I have tested negative for all allergens. I've had a kenalog shot, attarax, benzodiazepenes. I got a Kenalog injection 8 months ago for allergies in my hip and it has atrophied so much that it causes pain to sit, and sometime just standing. At times pain goes down my leg to the calf. They used Buffered Lidocaine injection which I did not feel any of.. I must admit, I did put over the counter Lidocaine cream all over my breast about an hour before the procedure. I have seen three Internists, two ophthalmologists, and a disease specialist. Also a lab did a culture that came back with only gram negative bacteria which the doctors said did not mean much. I don't know if they checked for malignancy. I assumed they would have.
Hi, I want to thank you for this online medical service and my question is I have a 9 years old nephew who is suffering from severe exzema and its been with him for 4 years I want to know if using Kenalog shots is the right solution in his case? attached is some of the recent picture of his legs and how they look currently. I have tried every RX cream out there and today I had to get Kenalog injections in each lesion. I had them once before and got the injections and they cleared up but none the less they came back. My doctor has recommended that I start tanning. He even gave me a prescription to tan. Is there anything else that can be done to help them from coming back? They itch all the time!
