Levora birth control side effects

Common Questions and Answers about Levora birth control side effects

levora

Avatar f tn Yes, take a test to be sure. I am not familiar with that type of birth control or the side effects but taking a test is vital if there's a possibility you could be pregnant. Please do so to be sure -- there are so many women who want children out there and can't have them and it would be a shame if you were pregnant but the birth control harmed your unborn child.
Avatar f tn I am not ready for a hysterectomy/ooverectomy yet. Is there a birth control pill out there with fewer side effects for depression. I take Effexor XR 225mg daily. I will start a Intensive Out-patient Program this week for depression.
Avatar f tn A lot of antibiotics cause birth control to be ineffective.
Avatar f tn I have been on levora birth control for four months now and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days in a row and he finished inside of me, we usually don't do that. However, now I'm getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week.
Avatar f tn t been on any sort of birth control for a good six months now and my period is still super irregular. I've been skipping whole months. Sometimes it'll come on the 30th day of my cycle, sometimes they'll come 7 weeks apart, etc. It's impossible to track. I've talked to my doctor and they said unfortunately they can't put me on any sort of birth control that will regulate my period without running the increased risk of blood clotting.
Avatar f tn m not sure about this but i just went to the clinic and got switched back onto my old birth control today in hopes that my anxiety will go away. about six or seven months ago i stopped taking yasmin because i just didn't feel like dealing with having to rememeber to take a pill everyday....(lazy i know).
Avatar m tn so for the past 6 months i've been on levora, a birth control. the past couple of months i've been having aches on my right side, i'm pretty sure it's my ovary (and no i do not think it's ovulatin, those aches last only a day). these aches are on and off the whole month.i had my withdrawal bleed about 2 and a half weeks ago so i doubt i'm pregnant. i'm very good at taking the pill as well. i've been with my.
730826 tn?1317943334 If you have stopped taking the birth control that was making you sick, and are not taking any other kind of birth control, then i would say there is another reason for the nausea. Side effects do not last for a month. I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor. However, if you are nauseated and are taking a different birth control, then it may be that.
Avatar f tn yea i agree with u on the whole guinea pig thing , but i dont think birth control is a womens chore, if i knew all the side effects &it was out longer i would deff get mine to do it lol. but i dont think most men would do it anyways just because the risk is what get some of them aroused.
Avatar n tn I am about to start nuva ring and I was wondering if anyone has had any side effects from this BC that are something to worry about? I've been off BC for about 6 months or more now because of the risks and my doctor put me on nuva ring because he said it was less side effects...I'm a smoker and I'm 24 years old. Any thoughts?
Avatar n tn I've been on combination birth control for about 5 months now (first Levora, then switched to Portia 2 months in), and I've had breakthrough periods before. In the past, they were like my regular periods: lighter, but similar general consistency and flow so I would have to wear a pad. Recently, I've noticed that when I wipe, there's been light traces of blood which I thought was just my breakthrough period.
Avatar f tn I just need suggestions for birth control pills that are good for people who are extremely sensitive to hormones. I've had the Mirena IUD, which didn't cause me to gain weight, but caused my skin to look awful and other issues. I know every person reacts differently to birth controls, but I'm really starting to feel like there is nothing out there for me. I just don't want to gain weight or get acne.
5946774 tn?1389187935 It is non hormonal, so you do not get the hormonal side effects of other IUDS, and the only side effect that I personally had was cramping the first two weeks it was in, because my body was getting used to it. Avatar n tn I am a 30-year-old healthy female that started taking effexor xr in January. The dosage was raised to 150mg 2 months ago. I really haven't had any side affects. I went off birth control about a month ago, after taking it for 12 years and now I feel like my body is going crazy. I am having fluid seeping from one breast, head-aches that linger all day, I am exhausted even though I get plenty of sleep, I feel nauseous and dizzy often, and I am very emotional.
Avatar f tn I am planning to get rid of this IUD. Please help me if any one else having this kind of issues. Any other suggations for birth control.
Avatar f tn What is the best birth control after i have my baby this will be my 3rd and i dont want to get my tubes tide
Avatar f tn Anyone else decide not to take birth control due to all the side effects you take a chance with while taking them? What did you do to prevent yours, elf from getting pregnant again? I don't really want to take birth control never have I've seen how some people have side effects yes everybody is different but that's a chance I don't want to take of being depressed etc.
Avatar f tn I recently had a cyst removed about the size of a grape from my left ovary, however when we went into surgery my dr found one the size of my uterus behind my uterus attached to my right ovary. As a result due to shape n size n history my dr removed my rt ovary. I cannot go on birth control since I've had breast cancer 2 yrs before. I'm currently 37. & feel the effects of hot flashes. I'm just wondering is this to be expected? & if so what else should I expect.
Avatar f tn It is best to have a frank discussion with your gynecologist about these side effects. He/she may suggest an alternative birth control method which may be most suitable for you. A clinical examination and evaluation is extremely important for correct diagnosis and management of your condition. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. Take and keep me posted on how you are doing. Kind regards!
7019649 tn?1396792517 I know I have a while before I decide, but I'd like to start looking at my options now. I didn't do well with the pill. It had very negative side effects for me, so I'm thinking I want to do something that isn't hormonal. My mom got a Mirena and had to have it surgically removed because it migrated, so I'm scared to death of those things, too. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn What's a good birth control you have took before. After I have my baby I really want her to be the only one.
Avatar f tn I ended up on the neuva ring and loved it! No side effects for me and they helped control my hormones. I would of never made if through my college finals without it! I literally couldn't get angry with the neuva ring :) only downside was it was expensive. After this baby I want an IUD so I don't have to do anything and there aren't any hormones.
Avatar f tn 18, with boyfriend... Looking for a really reliable birth control pill with relatively few side effects.... Any ideas?
