I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. I'm also experiencing dizziness. I'm taking levora. So now idk if I'm pregnant or it's just the first effects of the pills. I talked to my doctor and she said I shouldn't be throwing up.
t been on any sort of birth control for a good six months now and my period is still super irregular. I've been skipping whole months. Sometimes it'll come on the 30th day of my cycle, sometimes they'll come 7 weeks apart, etc. It's impossible to track. I've talked to my doctor and they said unfortunately they can't put me on any sort of birth control that will regulate my period without running the increased risk of blood clotting.
I have been on levora birth control for four months now and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days in a row and he finished inside of me, we usually don't do that. However, now I'm getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week.
m not sure about this but i just went to the clinic and got switched back onto my old birth control today in hopes that my anxiety will go away. about six or seven months ago i stopped taking yasmin because i just didn't feel like dealing with having to rememeber to take a pill everyday....(lazy i know).
In May 2007, I started taking Levora birth control pills on a continuous basis to avoid normal menstrual cycles. I stopped taking them in March 2008 to see if they had helped stop the endometriosis for good. It didn't work, so my Gyn re-prescribed Levora 3 weeks ago. Within a few days of taking Levora again I noticed that I was much more mentally vulnerable and by the third week on Levora I was completely destroyed emotionally and mentally.
A lot of antibiotics cause birth control to be ineffective.
I've been on combination birth control for about 5 months now (first Levora, then switched to Portia 2 months in), and I've had breakthrough periods before. In the past, they were like my regular periods: lighter, but similar general consistency and flow so I would have to wear a pad. Recently, I've noticed that when I wipe, there's been light traces of blood which I thought was just my breakthrough period.

Have you ever been late for your period before? Most women get their period during the placebo week. Are you taking the 21 or 28 day pack?
I started taking Levora birth control pills at the end of February. I had been on this brand before, years ago, with no complications after being prescribed Ortho-TricyclineLo which was a nightmare. It was recommended to me to start taking BC due to potential hormonal imbalances (potentially PCOS due to excessive hair growth) and this lined up with a new sexual relationship so I agreed even though I prefer not to use hormonal birth control.
I decided to stop taking my birth control after my last period which was on December 29, 2011.. My birth control usually regulates my period to where I get it the 4th Thursday of every month. I also was not sexually active for over a year until I had sex with my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago. We had protected sex and then the 2nd time was unprotected, but he pulled out in time & did not nut in me.
Could you get pregnant on the birth control pill even when u miss a few my breast feel a little heavy and my nipples hurt I had sex on December 21st my next period is January 10th I did a little spotting then bleeding but I believe that's cause I missed pills so doctor told me to get back on track and I stop bleeding but my fave is breaking out I feel bloated n sleeping a lot and my family sad I'm a little moody and I can't stop eating... I went out of town for a couple of days and forgot to pack my birth control pills (YAZ). I missed two pills in week three. I followed the directions and continued to take active pills through the following Sunday and then started a new pack. I did not get my period however, the pill directions say this is to be expected. Can anybody explain what causes the missed period?
i had anal sex with my bf 2 weeks ago (april 29th)but he didnt come inside and took it away before he was about to and he didnt use a condom, but my previous period ended on april 2nd last month and i am supposed to be getting my periods for this month May but i havent got it yet, i do get irregular periods sometimes and i did do a pregnancy test at home after i missed my period (after my due date), the result was negative twice but i still havent got my periods
And continuing the pills didn't affect it right? I'm waiting for my period to come this week but missed 4 of my active pills..
My last period was 16/04/14, had two home pregnancy test that shows negative, had another pregnancy test by the Doctor and still shows negative. What could be the problem? Help please.
