Montec Lc is montelukast 10 mg and levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg. Montelukast belongs to the class of leukotriene receptor antagonists. It is used to prevent allergic symptoms. It works by blocking the action of substances that cause inflammation, fluid retention and mucous secretion. So, it is prescribed long term as preventive measure, so you can take it for 90 days.

she refuse me instead gave me levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5mg.. but i didnt eat it.. i asked her if my problem wont stop what she can do.. she told me that nothing else.. maybe other med.. what was that????! i believe theres a cure! i havent take any med now... my rash stop.. i have no swollen lips anymore.. but my lips chapped and very dry and had this unwanted smell.. im so embarrassed and uncomfortable... i cant eat well.. i cant speak well for 2 weeks!
Hydoxyzine worked wonders for me (once I got a high enough dose). I take 25 - 50 mg. every 6 hours. I had a bad rash all over my body except my face and buttocks and it stopped the itching and is clearing the rash.
I wish they would have started it in Dec,. but it seems with these side effects we are all re-inventing the wheel. The docs seem clueless.
This year, after spending the night at a room full of dust and -without my knowledge- cat hair, I went to the hospital because I found it hard to breathe for more than 16 hours (not dying for air but still very tormenting), Zyrtec not working and Symbicort hardly helping. They gave me oxygen and monitored me till the morning of the next day (I stayed the night).
My husband is taking clonazepam .05, Lomtrigine 200 mg and pramipexole dihydrochloride 0.25 for depression, anxiety and RLS. He hasn't been able to get out of bed lately and has missed a lot of work. Could this excessive sleepiness be due to the combination of these drugs? It is not that he doesn't want to get out of bed, it's almost as if he is drugged, which led to my question. This is not normal.

Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.

I had few low risk exposures for which I underwent few Antibody & HIV Proviral DNA PCR test.Thankfully all were negative.
I have been taking anti allergy tablet(salt Montelukast Sodium & Levocetirizine Di hydrocloride) once a day & anti anxiety tablets on and off. Do these medicines have any bearing on the antibody or HIV Proviral DNA PCR test.. I mean can they lead to false negatives in any of them.

She prescribed Nasonex 2x2, Ipratropium bromide inhalation and Levocetirizine for 10 days. A follow up 10 days later, i was still coughing and she then prescribed Narivent which was so disgusting that i almost puked from it and Prospan (Hedera helix syrup). This did not help, yet again, and i was still coughing. Third follow up after 10 days was prescribed Nasonex again, salt water and a seretide inhaler.
I have been suffering for five months with severe nasal congestion. I finally broke down yesterday and went to my family practioner. She prescribed me levocetirizine. Its a newer allergy medication and supposively the best! Its class B which is in same caterogory as benedryl. I'm telling you I have been through 14 bottles of afrin and have not been able to go anywhere without my tissues. I have taken one so far and not one tissue today!

Having seen a lot of Doctors and spent money on specialists I am of the opinion that my condition is brought on by a mixture of physical and mental stress.
The physical stress I can occasionally relate to is when I do DIY or general household chores.
He gave me penicillin kind of medicine for 1 week course and levocetirizine for allergies. It is now my 4th day of the treatment but still the same problem. I still have that "floating kind of feeling". I will just wait for the last day of taking my medicine then I am going back to him for follow up.
