Hi i am a 30 year old guy from India. when winter seasons come i am suffering from cold symptoms like nose blockage. some times running nose when drink water multiple sneezing comes so please assist me which drug i can take?will i go for any allergy based test ?i used Monticope which contains Montelukast and Levocetirizine but no relief yet. pls help me.

Some viruses causing infection are rhinovirus, influenza, adenovirus, echovirus etc. Infection is transmitted through inhaling droplets and touching infected areas. Sinusitis has symptoms like feeling pressure on forehead, sinus drainage, fatigue, poor sense to smell and taste, bad breath, sore throat, ear pain etc.

Hydoxyzine worked wonders for me (once I got a high enough dose). I take 25 - 50 mg. every 6 hours. For burning throat, gargle with salt water immediately and keep doing it. Take Montelukast+levocetirizine for 10 days one daily(0-0-1) preferably night. take multivitamins and gargle with Tantum before food, betadine(1:5) and hydrogen peroxide(1:10) after food for three days. Take dichlo for pain relieving for 2 days(1-0-1). If symptoms persist, rush to the ENT specialist.

Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.

She prescribed Nasonex 2x2, Ipratropium bromide inhalation and Levocetirizine for 10 days. A follow up 10 days later, i was still coughing and she then prescribed Narivent which was so disgusting that i almost puked from it and Prospan (Hedera helix syrup). This did not help, yet again, and i was still coughing. Third follow up after 10 days was prescribed Nasonex again, salt water and a seretide inhaler.

She prescribed me levocetirizine. Its a newer allergy medication and supposively the best! Its class B which is in same caterogory as benedryl. I'm telling you I have been through 14 bottles of afrin and have not been able to go anywhere without my tissues. I have taken one so far and not one tissue today!

it was all over my body..so i tried washing it with cold water..it does help but after a short time,it appears again..so,i tried claritin..it works wonders..it removes the rash,itch and also the reddish skin..but sad to say,the moment the claritin effect worn off,this rash will strike again..so i have been living with claritin now for almost a month..somebody pls help me..problem is,i am living and studying in moscow right now and im nt a local..

i stop the med and went for the 4th doctor for allergy injection. she refuse me instead gave me levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5mg.. but i didnt eat it.. i asked her if my problem wont stop what she can do.. she told me that nothing else.. maybe other med.. what was that????! i believe theres a cure! i havent take any med now... my rash stop.. i have no swollen lips anymore.. but my lips chapped and very dry and had this unwanted smell.. im so embarrassed and uncomfortable... i cant eat well..

He gave me penicillin kind of medicine for 1 week course and levocetirizine for allergies. It is now my 4th day of the treatment but still the same problem. I still have that "floating kind of feeling". I will just wait for the last day of taking my medicine then I am going back to him for follow up.

I'm not sure how long it's been, but I think it was a couple or so weeks ago when I noticed that I was getting a rash on the rim of my belly button, and a little in my actual belly button. After some time it spread to the skin around my belly button, and recently, it spread even further. I'm starting to get worried. I've been having clay and yellow colored stools, is this a gallbladder problem since bile colors the stool? I think the other liver tests are normal. could I have had encephalopathy?

OMG you don't take antibiotics for cold! Cold and flu are virus, antibiotics are for bacterial infections and have no effect of viruses Anyways.. I would take ginger, just boil some ginger and chicken and make a soup. It's wonderful for cold :) also, you can take ecchinacea or propolis, natural herbs for cold!
