At $1,000 per pill, Sovaldi costs 1,100% more than Stribild, the most-expensive AIDS combo drug on the market. In addition, Gilead is charging a higher price for this drug even though the cost to produce it is small. According to industry reports, Gilead produces Sovaldi for approximately $1.00 per gram (with only 10 to 30 grams needed to successfully treat patients with Hepatitis C).
Avatar m tn went to see a urologist saturday 19th sept after talking to him he told me that i may need to take a procedure called a penile doppler but in the mean time he prescribed levitra i would like to no if its safe and is there did it worked for you or anybody you know
Avatar f tn I wish the viagra were not so cost prohibitive. I currently am fighting with my insurance company over quantity. In America on my plan--Blue Cross Blue Shield of GA, I am allowed 6 pills a month. Not nearly enough to take every day as my doctor ordered for penile rehabilitation. (I was fortunate to receive some sample packs from a Pfizer representative, but they are almost gone now.) However, I had tried a supplement that is known to increase nitric oxide levels.
Avatar m tn If ultraV is some over the counter sex pill, then it doesn't work! None of them do! It's just a waste of money. The only type sex pills that actually work is prescripted Viagra, Cialis or Levitra. See your doctor!
Avatar n tn and the damn thing cost $15 per pill. I did get some initial good results from herbal supplements, but it lasted only for about 2 weeks. I also though about posting in the MD section, but most likely i will get a stupid reply saying "go and see a specialist, good luck". it's not worth paying $16 bucks. I was quite hopeful in the beginning when I heard things like "Most ED are treatable". Now that seems like fairy tale.
Avatar m tn I saw this yesterday, printed it out and have read it several times. And I'll probably have to read it several more before I can completely wrap my head around it. The good news, as I see it, is the clarity it brings to the subject of actual cost of new medications to payers. "The $1000 dollar pill" or the "$1125 pill" has gotten so much play in the media. (Doctors aren't immune to this nor are many who work in the insurance industry.
Avatar n tn Viagra and Levitra are the two FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) approved anti-impotence drugs that are indeed effective in helping men.Viagra needs no introduction! Pfizer's wonder drug, sildenafil, better known as Viagra, is the trusted treatment for male impotence problems.

Avatar n tn I discovered my husband has been buying levitra for sexual dysfunction. He insists he uses it for masterbation, as there are pills missing and he has not used them on me. Is it possible that he uses it for this? He does suffer from erectile dysfunction. I can't understand why he would want to use it for masterbation. Has anyone ever heard of this? The first thing I thought was that he was having an affair.
Avatar f tn Sorry I don't have Kaiser health insurance, maybe someone else here does, but those prices sound about right. Those are your "co-pay costs", the "actual cost" is thousands of dollars per month as you have heard. I had Blue Cross of California during treatment and my co-pay cost were similar to the prices you quoted.
Avatar n tn Hi and thank you for this forum. I am 29 and I have lived quite a life. I became sexually active at 14 and also a heavy drug user. MDMA has been my drug of choice but I've heavily used cocaine, LSD and marijuana. It began at 14 with marijuana and LSD, at 16 I laid off of the LSD and began with the MDMA and at 17-19 I was a heavy cocaine user (snorting, never smoking or mainlining). At 20 I slowed down quite a bit but still used MDMA and weed frequently. At 22 I think I overdosed on meth.
Avatar f tn Everything is relative-- but yes, that is a large dose. Consider that Percocet tablets-- medications used to treat surgical pain in dose ranges of 1-2 every 4 hours-- contain 5-10 mg of oxycodone. You are taking the equivalent of 70 of the 5 mg tabs every day, when the dose after major surgery would be on the order of 5-10 tablets per day. The largest dose I've seen in a patient addicted to oxycodone is about 700 mg per day.
Avatar f tn I found that my husband has been buying levitra for sexual dysfunction (pyronise's). He insists he uses it for masterbation and that it helps with the plague of the pyronise . We do not have sex.
Avatar m tn Thus, drugs such as Viagra/Levitra/Cialis as well as Muse and injectable medications (Prostaglandin E-1, regitine, phentolamine) used several times per week may help as well as stretching with a vacuum erection device several times per day (usually twice per day) may help. Your urologist can prescribe these.
740456 tn?1260449809 is it equally effective when you use half a pill as opposed to an entire pill? I think he has 20mg ones, i know there are also the daily ones that are 5mg... and i should check to see what the price on that is.... but yeah, it may be time for samples!!! as long as it still has the same effect i will definitly try cutting them up cause because this is absurd =P thanks!
Avatar n tn I have been prescribed Levitra and viagra for the past ten years and they have worked well. I was talking mainly 20mg Levitra. A few months ago this only resulted in a less than satisfactory "half erection" and that has been the case since. However I have been woken during the night with a good erection so the "plumbing must still be working.
Avatar m tn //www.levitrabliss.com, there I got about “Levitra “, but I just want to get your suggestion regarding this issue that Levitra is a good medicine for ED cure or not.

Avatar m tn I’ve gone through a few articles mentioning that diabetics with ED can use Generic Levitra (vardenafil). Is that true? If so, I’d like to know who has used Generic Levitra having ED and diabetes and is it safe.
Avatar f tn It began last week when I took a Levitra to have sex with my spouse. All was well, and I was lasting extra long. She was finished, and then I kept trying for a while, but I could not. She tried other ways to help, but no luck. I haven’t been able to orgasm through any method since then. What does this sound like, and what can I do about it? I am a Type 2 Diabetic, and take Metformin, Januvia, and Zoloft for anxiety.
Avatar m tn At the gift shop they sold ED medication. I purchase one Levitra pill and cut it up into 4. I took one each consecutive night. I did not need it but just wanted to try it and it work. On the 5th day we came home and I was able to have sexy as normal. The next day I lost my erection in the middle of sex. After that I could not get a erection. Two days later I went to my family doctor and was told it might be a reaction to my blood pressure medication.
Avatar f tn He began Suboxone treatment and is now weaning off of the Suboxone, and is now down to 1/4 of 8 mg. per day. I do not do any drugs, so I have a difficult time being able to tell what is normal and/or side effects of drug abuse. I have noticed in the last week (during his tapering off), his moodiness has returned, and he is not being as affectionate as he was being while on the Sub. As far as our sex life, it seems to be almost non-existant.
Avatar f tn Hello! Clomid is relatively inexpensive. I think it's about $60 or so per month. The HSG shot is also $60 or so. IUI should cost ~$300.00. The other costs will be associated with blood tests and ultrasounds, though somehow my RE billed all that through insurance under PCOS. It started costing me quite a bit of money when I did an injectible cycle. That was a flat rate of $1300, plus $300 for the IUI, plus another $1200 or so for the medication. Ouch.
Avatar f tn script cost was $92.00...for 30 pills. / about $4.00 per pill by script....cost for single pill was almost $7.00 per pill....almost half again for not getting full script from Walgreens.........................read the fine print....
