I am 41 and i have high blood pressure for which i am not currently taking any medication. My blood pressure has been very high lately. I have also has acid reflux for the lst several weeks. Could this be as a result of the high blood pressure? I am going to see a doctor soon. Please Help!!

25mg of Bisoprolol which is a powerful medication. It did nothing for my blood pressure but did take away all angina pain.

have hand pain and numbness also pain in the knees, ankles, foot, toes foot instep, arch, bottom of my feet painful. toes have pain and cramp at times. could this be a rare allergic reaction of my toprol i am taking 50 mg. a day 25 am and 25 pm. i have been diagnosed with ans dysfunction and my doctor feels i may have developed an allergic reaction to the toprol. putting me on something else may also cause an allergic reaction, new meds are a definete reaction for me. what to do.

I was sent to l&d yesterday by my ob because my blood pressure was high it was like 149/94 and i had protine in my urine. They'll most likely put you on bed rest, I had very high blood pressure (avg about 165/95) with my first, so high that if I didn't have a sonogram before my Dr appt she would send me to hospital for a NST (non-stress test) afterwards. I didn't have any symptoms though, no blurred vision, headache, swelling nothing at all. Just take things easy and don't over work your self, and just listen to your body, it will be ok!
