My left breast hurts when I stretch my arm up...should I be concerend. It feels like the muscles are tearing...thanks!

Hi I am 18 years old and my left breast has been hurting for a week or so now. It only hurts when I press on it. But it's really bothering me! I had my period October 5-10. Then on tuesday the 18th I took the plan B pill. (we had a little accident and I didn't want to chance it) is there anyway that the pill is still causing this!? The pain started the day after I took the pill! Please! Any suggestions on what is going on! Thanks!

I have pain from sternum, into ribs just under left breast. Feels bruised to touch but haven't done anything to cause it. Hurts to wear bra and hurts to lay on left side. What could be causing this?

Breast discomfort is rarely associated with breast cancer but can be due to many causes. I don't know of any breast concern that has anything to do with the size of your breast ... large or small. My best advice would be to see a Dr. for a clinical breast exam and perhaps some type of imagery (Ultrasound or Mammogram) to determine the cause of this discomfort.

I noticed today that my left breast above the nipple closer to my arm pit, and sore down my side was sore today I touch it and it hurts not oh my god hurts but its sore my daughter lays her head on e and it hurts I don't feel a lump. s an air bubble under left breast and it lasts for a couple minutes and it hurts if i breathe or move a certain direction or it can last a fue hours at low pain, then, suddenly it feels like it pops, which hurts even more, but then the pain is gone and i feel fine (kinda like pain desolving..weird). i get it maybe a couple times a week, sometimes i'd get it a couple times a day. About six months ago I found a few lumps around my left breast. I went to the doctor and he said he felt it too. I got a mamogram and xray. I was told that they didnt see anything. The lumps are still there. My left nipple always stings. I can feel pain from nipple to my left underarm. It's like there is a line to both those locations. Hi, I don’t think your problem is related to a breast condition.Pain under your left breast, could be due to several things. For example,Costochondritis, (chest wall inflammation) flatulence,ulcer,angina, pulled muscle,acid reflux, stomach inflammation etc...All these symptoms could very well cause the pain you are describing. Therefore,,if I were you, I would consult a doctor as soon as possible to diagnose the underlying cause. Best wishes..

My right breast hurt more than my left and it often trades the pain to each other. It hurts to sleep and bend because the pain gets worst... What could it be??

For my procedure I chose the mastectomy on my left breast and reconstruct after the surgery and breast reduction on my right breast because I was getting a reduction anyway. I am so scared because the doctor said, they have to look at my lymph nodes and make sure it haven't spread and if so it will require chemo, but if not, I would be ok. He said, some patients may even require radiation after a mastectomy.
