Common Questions and Answers about Laser surgery northern ireland

Avatar m tn I really dont want to go for monofocal - so am keen to hear more of the finevision. I am in Northern Ireland. - virtually no backup from the commercial firm that fitted the lens.
Avatar n tn I had knee replacment surgery (both knees) almost four years ago and still have pain almost every day, and my knees are very stiff. Since I can walk and perform most household chores, my operation was presumably a success. I don't have the same level of pain that you do, but when I do, I guess I will seek help from an orthopedic doctor. I guess I just presumed that the pain would go away, or why the operation? Good luck to you.
Avatar n tn Mine was at 20mm and I was starting to show signs of paralysis when mine was discovered, so I was rushed to surgery. I only knew of the existance of Chiari for 3 weeks before my surgery, some people may be diagnosed and watched for years, even decades, before they need surgery. Type 2 and beyond are often noticable at birth. They often causes partial or complete paralysis below the spinal defect and generally have noticable malformed brains at least on an MRI.
Avatar m tn As you can see by the hundreds of comments, the Flip-Turn Sinus Flush works extremely well for chronic bacterial infections of the upper sinuses, replacing antibiotics and surgery in most instances. For infections of the lower sinuses, I recommend the Neilmed Sinus Rinse--available at most pharmacies--as it requires less effort and risk.
534800 tn?1217170959 I golf with a woman who's a nurse at an outpatient surgery unit. She talked to the vascular guys about this. They confirmed what we pretty much already know about it, and said cold compresses are really the only thing that will help. They also suggested we might want to consider a vascular consult especially if there's every any swelling that goes along with it. I'm probably going to do that given that I've had two cases of my legs swelling up while traveling in the past year.
Avatar n tn My boyfriend thought I was crazy because the only way I could describe it was that someone had strapped a cell phone set to vibrate to the underneath of my left foot that went off every 5 seconds. It's so annoying. I'm 34 female, and like many of the rest of you I'm stressed at work -it's about the only thing I can see as an underlying cause. I also get extremely dizzy. I've been to the neurologist, cardiologist, pulminologist, infectious disease doctor and they have all come back negative.
Avatar n tn Well I've had a hysterectomy and I still get these pains so I don't think it has any thing to do with your cycle. As i've gotten older 46 the episodes last longer, the worst an hour!!!OH MY GOSH! I just want to find some thing to stop this really is awful.
