Dysplasia means change in the morphology of cells or an abnormality in development. This generally consists of an expansion of immature cells, with a corresponding decrease in the number and location of mature cells. It is the earliest form of pre-cancerous lesion and it has to be found out whether it is a low grade or high grade dysplasia or malignancy.

Wecome to MH and this forum annan , I am not certain what country you live in till you fill in your profile however here in the US we have Laser that works on scars very effectively, also other countries have laser treatment for scars , birthmarks and other blemishes. I have had a birthmark removed successfully by laser, the cost has come down considerably.No one has to live with scars anymore, put this into our Dermatology forum for further answers.
hi, I had surgery about a year ago for a pilonidal cyst. Everything apparently went fine, but suddenly about some 6 months now , even though in the beginning the wound closed by itself naturally it reopened again and I've been like this for about this time (6 months as I said). I cannot do anything because anything I do just hurts me. I can't play sports like I used to, I can't sit well without making it hurt.

Research suggests the best way would be with a bleaching agent much in the same way anal/vaginal bleaching is approached. Hydroquinone appears to be too dangerous; would kojic acid be better? I've heard that a TCA peel can work. I would apply the lightening agent using a q-tip I think.

Hi everyone, I have a 15 month old girl. She also has Ilven.It started as a small spot on her elbow and has spread all up and down her right arm, on the right side of her neck, and up and down the right side of her back. I don't think that at this point she knows it's there but it does get worse form time to time. My heart is so broken.I feel as if I did this to her. My doc has said there is no treatment but maybe laser.
