I have been getting dark blotches on my face, mostly on my cheeks and upper lip. They are darker than my skin color and are not going away. Not sure what they are, is it sun damage or something else. The discoloration on my upper lip is what bothers me the most. Please help!!
Okay, before I did this 30% glycolic acid peel I did a little research on it. Now, when I was researching people said, that there should be a little bit of redness, drying, scabbing, and peeling of the skin. The symptoms that is. So when I first applied it , it didn't really bother my skin as bad as I thought it was.
There was little bit of a tingling not really harsh or lenient. I give it about a 4 out of 10 on a level of, I guess burning or a stinging sensation.

I recently started using sugar cane and citrus acid mix to peel the top most layer of skin trying to promote growth but all I've found it doing so far is just making the skin much softer. Another sign at least to me that the skin is below the level it should be is when I don't wash my face for a day (dead skin builds slightly) the eye area evens out a bit and the spider veins diminish.

I have noticed on my forehead I have some darker skin in blotches,does anyone know what to use for this?
Dr. Rosenberg is saying there are a few different "modalities" to try (trial) differet types of lasers etc. Try them out on different scars and whichever one works best go w that on the rest of the scars. It may take a process w the lasers over a period of time. I am sure it can be improved, will it ever be perfect flawless skin? Probably not but then who has that if your over age 5? Lol the lasers can help significantly.
Can I use retin A to remove the old skin and possibly make the mark less noticeable? Are there any other treatments?
I have skin discoloration from bruise, insect bites,cut or burn after healing it leaves a spot that never goes away. I am 39 years and I have had this problem since I was teenager. I use bleaching creams for a period of two weeks or less as long there is no sign of improvement I discontinue.

I noticed today that the skin was peeling and so I started to pick at it and the wart-scab started to peel off as well. I didn't peel it all the way off because it was still very tender (the skin around part of the wart wasn't ready to peel yet so I was having a difficult time ripping it off). However, I did get a look at the flesh underneath this scab: it was pink as you would expect a newly healing sore to be.

Occasionally, I used to give myself glycolic acid peels (50%) for about 5 minutes max, just as a spot treatment on stubborn acne scars that have left a small darkened skin patch which takes forever (months) to peel off. After having been using the pigmanorm for several weeks now, I used the glycolic acid peel and after just 3 minutes it was burning much more than usual.
