Avatar f tn I had laser genesis preformed on my face and now my face after it was recommended to me to remove some redness in my face. i was off all medication before getting this done. Now my face is soooooooooo DRYYYY. It has been one week since my 4th treatment and my face feels so tight and again very very dry. Did i ruin my skin with these procedures?? Will my skin ever go back to normal?? No matter what i put on it it doesn't seem to retain any moisture whatsoever.

Avatar n tn Salicylic acid works ok, but once again even if the pores are clear, they are still huge and I keep getting the same blackheads every other day due to the sebeacous glands. I've looked into lasers such as Laser Genesis and lasers such as Smoothbeam, Cooltouch, and Aramis which are supposed to shrink the sebaceous glands, but I don't know if they will actually work. So I was wondering what do you think is the best treatment for large pores, and what would help to shrink the sebaceous glands?
Avatar n tn It looks just like the type of skin tags some people sometimes get in their armpits. It is skin colored, sticks out maybe the thickness of a pen tip. It doesn't hurt or anything, it's just there, and in a bad place. Does anyone have any idea?
Avatar m tn IPl or laser - You could try this however it could be an idea to give oral meds a try and let your skin have a few more months time to try and recover/lessen inflammation level before pursueing this avenue. I only say this because IPL has had a backlash effect on a couple post-accutane flushers.
Avatar f tn my boobs had stretch marks but i got laser treatment (called laser genesis) for the red and they are 80-90% improved. you can also get the fraxel laser that improves texture. see a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. i had my initial consultation when i was pregnant so that they could advise me what to do as soon as the baby was delivered. i was in their office for my first treatment when she was a couple of weeks old. i got a hip binder from babiesrus.
Avatar n tn They just said it was irritated skin...and my reaction was NO S*@t. She just gave me a different cream to apply. She said that when I go back in September if I still have the fissure problem then she is going to send me to a dermatologist. I was so upset for the whole day and so far it has effected my whole week. I thought they were going to find out what it was and give me a magic pill to get rid of it. Instead I get an answer that I already knew and told to switch creams.
Avatar n tn also, my tummy is the thickest, but i have a lot of damage from an emergency c-section...and saggy skin. i'm wondering if it would be worth it there...the skin won't 'go back'. i'm in the kc area and have a great doc. is it okay to say the doc's name here?
Avatar n tn I was doing this in late 1990's, and I will start doing it right away to see if it helps. But, I do not expect this to yield results over night. It probably would take at least a few weeks before one can judge the result. Second, Castor oil pack: I tried this about 3.5 years ago, but unfortunately I did not try weight workouts at that time as I was doing the walking for 5-6 days a week only.
