Common Questions and Answers about Laser scar treatment prices

Avatar n tn It seems very risky as I have heard of people, for other reasons, who have gotten laser treatment on there face and have serious permanent scars. I do not seem to be getting objective advice from Dermatologists about this. I most certainly do not want a permanent scar, especially because the redness on my face is not overwhelming. However, the thought of not having to worry about ingrown hairs and not shaving is highly appealing. I appreciate your advice.

Avatar n tn I've just completed my 2nd lipodissolve treatment. This time I did 2 area's, upper and lower abdomen. The first time was only on lower abdomen and I could see definately see a difference. Anyone else undergoing this? If you already did it, what was your results? This is definately not painless. Swelling, bruising, burning and pain for about 2 days. I can tolerate it, but the first hour after the injections is pretty tough to bear - but it does get better. Any questions, just ask me.

Avatar f tn The doctor basically gave me the options of laser treatment to remove the tattoo or to cut the tattoo out which will leave a big scar. But I know this Dermatologist to be very conventional and mainstream his thinking so I am researching other options. Since someone mentioned a possible fungal infection as the cause of the rash I'm going to try colloidal silver spray for a few weeks starting tonight.
Avatar n tn If these are caught at the right moment they can be treated with cream or by laser treatment, and is very easy and non painfull. Not long ago a new vaccination came out to prevent the 3 fungal infections that cause cancer. So I recomend for you all to go and visit your doctor and have this inyection. However, this inyection does not prevent the rest of the fungal infections which are treated in the same way. So please, don't worry.
Avatar n tn I had one laser treatment but it was a freebie and did nothing (SmartXide Dot laser) I've done all this for well over a year and NOTHING has improved. I look like a 40-year-old with an 80-year-old's arms. I live in Canada, so have more opportunity to cover my arms than someone living in Florida and cover them I do. I am embarrassed by them. I feel shocked when I look in the mirror. So ladies, I empathize fully. If I find a solution, I will post for you all.
Avatar m tn Before the cataract in August 2011 I had Laser PRK to correct Hyperomy (I had +1.75 in one eye and +2.25 in the other) The surgery didn't succeed and in May 2012 had to be done a second time. Second time was better BUT I got cataract because of the extensive use of Cortisone and Desametazone, so my vision was spoiled. So at the end of June 2013 I did the cataract surgery using PhysIOL Finevision trifocal lenses.
211940 tn?1267884866 They thought they were going to be removing 10 to 20 inches, but Praise the Lord (yes I believe in miracles) it was just a really terrible like strangled intestines from previous surgeries causing adhesions and scar tissue. And now, well it started months ago with an excruciating pain when I went to reach for something. The type of pain that would drop you to your knees and definitely bring tears to your eyes. A gnawing pain in your bones and muscles.
Avatar n tn My husband thinks I'm just attention seeking, get no sympathy from him!! I have my last laser treatment session next monday for my tendonitis, so am going to mention this to my physiotherapist. Does anyone have any explanation as to what this might be - or what else I can try to ease the pain!! Am wondering if it is a pinched nerve like 'tigerb' suggested.
