Laser removal tattoo before and after

Common Questions and Answers about Laser removal tattoo before and after

laser

Avatar n tn Question - I get laser tattoo removal treatments every 6-8 weeks and pre-treatment the technician uses an ice roller (looks like a lint-roller but the roller is cold metal) and rubs it on the tattoo and does this again after the laser is performed. Because the laser can cause pinpoint bleeding I am concerned that she didn't sanitize the roller before she rubbed it on my tattoo (which was bleeding). Is there any risk here? Thank you for your answers.
Avatar f tn t get tattoo removal either....I thinjk tattoo removal is even worse than getting the tattoo itself!
Avatar m tn I also had tattoo laser removal and after my second treatment developed this rash. Initially it was around my tattoo and is still the main affected area, however it spread through across my body. I have seen a dermatologist nearly every month for the past 8 months and we have tried creams steroids anti histamines etc and nothing seems to be working! I've even had biopsy done on the affected areas. My dr is left scratching his head and I'm obviously still not permanently treated!
652407 tn?1300737199 Hello, I am not very sure of the efficacy and the related side effects of these tattoo removal creams but laser removal although expensive has been found to be the best treatment for tattoo removal. Another technique is Intense Pulsed Light Therapy. It is dermal enhancer in which instead of laser light, it uses high intensity light. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
303706 tn?1296876149 t make a lick of difference. I have a full back job which goes over scars, stretch marks and lots of various bumps and lumps and you can't even see the stretch marks anymore. I'm pregnant now and my tattooist told me to come back when I've finished breast feeding and he'll tidy it up so if I get any new stretch marks I won't be able to see them. Gotta love a good tattoo!!
Avatar n tn I m lookin for another tattoo removal here where i live and that uses a more new laser. I know the laser that this place I was going use is very very old, but is a Q-switched (at least I belive so). I m going to another place that uses the medc6. Please any advices on this will be helpful, I really want the pink/red pigementation to go away even if it turns white, I prefer white than red, but today is 2 weeks from de procedure and it is still here.
Avatar f tn So I looked up ways to remove a tattoo and the safest and most reliable way is laser treatment but that still won’t completely get rid of the tattoo. There is also a risk of infections and stuff like that. I really want a tattoo though, it looks cool. Thoughts/Advice?
Avatar n tn Hello, What you are having is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. Since none of the other things have proven useful, laser treatment is one of the best options available. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

10175753 tn?1408314528 Can a lens put in after cataract surgery be replaced if damaged during laser procedure?
4417525 tn?1354258863 Hi all! Well for the past few years I have been battling super high cholesterol (which is down now yay!) but I was plagued with these horrible yellowish globs on my eyelids! I have talked to tons of Dermatologists and even a Plastic Surgeon and surgery still doesn't guarantee results (who can afford thousands of dollars for surgery with only a maybe anyway). Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone else has figured out a good concealer that will actually cover these things?
Avatar f tn Unfortunately, these spots are now visible around my bikini area and lower navel area (also treated with laser hair removal). They are a tan color and when I shower, they get darker. I was hoping they would go away (as I once had “Mexican dermatitis” on my legs and that went away after a few months), My questions are: 1. What are these spots? 2. How can I help them go away? 3. Would it be okay to have another laser hair removal session here? Thanks for any help or insight.
Avatar m tn Of course laser scar removal can be used on the genitals to treat scars since laser removal is commonly used in removing warts caused by HPV. From my personal experience, laser therapy is not bad at all and involves very little pain after a session of laser treatment although the pain might be a little annoying when the treatment begins (it feels like bacon grease that occasionally splashes up and hits you in the wrist when you're cooking; nothing too painful).
Avatar n tn She says she gets occasional chest pain, and her hands and feet are randomly going numb now too. She had the tattoo outlined a couple weeks ago and is going back to get color done, probably on the weekends. I don't know how close the skipped beats is coming after the tattoo session. It seems to me that a lot of ink introduced to a body could adversely affect it if the body was sensitive, and that is why I asked.
4113881 tn?1415850276 I have been having laser tattoo removal for some time now. My last treatment was 12 days ago and the nurse who did it was new. Well....during the treatment she went slower than the usual nurse and it hurt so bad. It blistered, scabbed, and well...is taking a very long time to heal AND is really red. I followed the aftercare to a T and have called the doc's office who is worthless. "Give it more time"....ok.
Avatar f tn I had laser lithotripsy 03 days before. After surgery and removal of my urine bag I am experiencing inconsistent urination. If any one help me sort out the problem and methods to cure.
Avatar n tn Does body laser hair removal effect the baby if pregnant ? Is it okay to have laser done while pregnant ?
Avatar f tn Am having hirsutism coz of PCOS, i did my first hair laser removal. how many sessions of laser removal i need?????
Avatar n tn Hey, just thought I'd let you know that I recently had laser removal around my bikini area and my sister has had it done on her lip. Its totaly worth it. The thicker the hair the more treatments you will need but 8 is the maxium. It saves your skin from being shaved and roughed up. I would go for it.
Avatar m tn Various methods used for mole removal are excision and cauterization. Although laser removal has been tried for moles, it is not usually the method of choice for most deep moles because the laser light doesn't penetrate deeply enough. You can get this mole evaluated from a dermatologist and get it evaluated. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar f tn 5 as i have been given treatment of laser barrage in my right eye 45 days back and i have got it checked as it is perfectly cued pls reply for lasik ?
Avatar f tn I work at the top laser hair removal company in the uk and we don't treat anybody who is pregnant, it's not worth the risk, it can also cause pigmentation because of the hormones x rubbish I know because I was due to get mine but iv just found out in 5 weeks =)
Avatar m tn You could also try laser hair removal. It's expensive and a bit painful, but it would significantly reduce the amount of hair permanently. It works best for people with darker hair and lighter skin since the laser looks for the color contrast. If you do laser hair removal, you'll probably use a lidocaine cream 30 minutes before the treatment. It basically feels like a rubber band snapping on your skin. Laser hair removal requires several treatments to work.
