Laser removal tattoo before and after

Common Questions and Answers about Laser removal tattoo before and after

laser

Avatar n tn Question - I get laser tattoo removal treatments every 6-8 weeks and pre-treatment the technician uses an ice roller (looks like a lint-roller but the roller is cold metal) and rubs it on the tattoo and does this again after the laser is performed. Because the laser can cause pinpoint bleeding I am concerned that she didn't sanitize the roller before she rubbed it on my tattoo (which was bleeding). Is there any risk here? Thank you for your answers.
Avatar n tn Hi, I had laser tattoo removal carried out 8 weeks ago. (Not the first time). On this occasion the wound became infected after a week. I visited A&E where they prescribed anti-biotics and treated with cream and after 1 week it had healed. Then was prescribed silver sulfadazine? To continue healing. However, some of the wound has scarred. It is still red and slightly raised, not painful but tender if pressed. My GP says it's not infected and gave me a soap free moisturiser.

Avatar f tn well although rare it is possible to become "allergic" to the ink....Most commonally with RED pigments. It could also be your skin is trying to reject the impurities of the ink. However if you are experiecning a reaction to the ink, it can last a long long time.
Avatar n tn I want to get it covered up with another tattoo. I tried laser removal, and it seriously hurts more than childbirth so i never went back. i have been reading articles whether or not it was safe to get a tattoo while pregnant and i'm confused. Although there is no medical proof that getting a tattoo while pregnant is dangerous to the fetus, some articles say yes, others say no. What do you guys think?
Avatar m tn Of course laser scar removal can be used on the genitals to treat scars since laser removal is commonly used in removing warts caused by HPV. From my personal experience, laser therapy is not bad at all and involves very little pain after a session of laser treatment although the pain might be a little annoying when the treatment begins (it feels like bacon grease that occasionally splashes up and hits you in the wrist when you're cooking; nothing too painful).
Avatar m tn They usually wait 4 weeks (sometimes even 6) before trying to prescribe correction after surgery to wait for vision to stabilize, and I know mine improved a bit before my 4 week postop. I think I'd read they wait perhaps 3 months before thinking about laser enhancement. re: the halos. I'd mentioned that I see them, but they don't bother me. My night vision is perhaps better than before I had cataracts, but at the least comparable.

4113881 tn?1415853876 I have been having laser tattoo removal for some time now. My last treatment was 12 days ago and the nurse who did it was new. Well....during the treatment she went slower than the usual nurse and it hurt so bad. It blistered, scabbed, and well...is taking a very long time to heal AND is really red. I followed the aftercare to a T and have called the doc's office who is worthless. "Give it more time"....ok.
Avatar m tn I know they used a YAG laser. 2 days after my tattoo removal, I drank large amounts of alcohol and numerous types of heavy alcohol along with beers, I woke up the next day with a serious hangover and a fever. The fever lasted for 8 days and it was accompanied only by strong headaches, no muccus or coughing or anything like that. The fever reached 38.5C and I took Advils to help relieve the pain.

Avatar n tn Hey girl. I'm 18 and have had the same problems you have since I was 12 or so. Words of advice: Do not shave! I did when I was 13 and have regret it ever since. Its gotten so bad I'm looking at laser hair removal. As for the stretch marks I have then and so does my sister. I'm 5'7" and she's 5'11" (but she's only 16.) She had very dark deep red/pink scars on her sides and legs and mine were similar.
Avatar f tn Exercise makes all of the symptoms worse, as I experience severe aching and muscle twitching after any kind of physical activity. A MRI of the brain and neck revealed increased areas of signal in the brain not consistent with ms. Blood tests suggest autoimmune disfunction (positive ana, antithyroid antibodies, high IgG for parvovirus and EBV and CMV without being conclusive of connective tissue or thyroid disease.
Avatar n tn I am pretty sure a dermatologist can use a laser to help with the scarring it is expensive though. It is a little like tattoo removal which I know some drs will do free for former inmates. Maybe you could find a caring dr. to help you. It never hurts to ask you may get lucky. If the scars are fresh they make silicone sheets that you can put on the scars and leave them on as much as possible they really help. Also retin a or renova can greatly help fresh scars. That requires a prescription.
Avatar n tn *All women have experienced some sort of itching related to the cut, typically just before. *Most have experienced it just before or after menstruating (and sex) *Most have thought it was herpes, most tested negative *Many have also had a yeast infection of some kind that comes along with it *Most have said they have had high stress within their life when these turn up In my experience, all of the above have been true with the first and now my second (and I hope my last) tear or cut.
Avatar n tn That's why I did laser hair removal for my bikini area, I am so tired of the lumps after I shave. So far so good, and I don't have to shave very often anymore either.
