1123156 tn?1338863369 if you can afford it i suggest the laser treatments. im actually going tomorrow for my first session. at MY place they are $100 to $150 per session and you need 2-5 sessions depending on how bad they are and how many you have. they won't be completely gone but they will fade to the point where you can't see them. they also have a different laser that can change their texture...and almost get rid of the indentions that stretch marks make.

Avatar n tn t expecting to expand when I filled out during puberty, and I got stretch marks on my hips and butt from it. Years later, they still bug me even though they have lightened. With plenty of research and experimentation, I've made significant improvements. I did this by regular exfoliation and laser treatments. There is hope and with technology these days, they can be improved! Youtube "Stretch Mark Removal" and you will see plenty of videos showing how this can be done.
303706 tn?1296876149 t make a lick of difference. I have a full back job which goes over scars, stretch marks and lots of various bumps and lumps and you can't even see the stretch marks anymore. I'm pregnant now and my tattooist told me to come back when I've finished breast feeding and he'll tidy it up so if I get any new stretch marks I won't be able to see them. Gotta love a good tattoo!!
Avatar m tn m starting to loose weight but my problem is that i developed a really bad case of stretch marks in my abdomen, thighs and underarms. i want to know is there is a cream that can help with my problem or ill yest have to learn how to live with them???
4725768 tn?1358443971 Nothing will get rid of stretch marks except laser removal. The lotions help with the itching but it will not make them go away. Over time they will get lighter and turn a silvery color but the bright side...I got them with my first pregnancy and never got them again. It's genetics as to wether you get them or not.
Avatar f tn Moisturizing is the best things you can do to minimize stretch marks. Stretch marks can fade but will not go away with out laser treatment.
Avatar f tn There is nothing you can do unfortunately. You either get them or you don't even if you take every "preventative" step in the books. Skin type genetics etc. Play a roll in if you will get them or not. I know there are creams to lighten them but ive heard theyre not safe during pregnancy. Ask your dr. And maybe consider laser treatments. My mother didn't have stretch marks so fingers crossed I won't. If so, I will def be getting laser treatments!
Avatar f tn So I know you cant really help it if you get stretch marks and stuff.. i started getting them at 32 weeks (ill be 34 weeks tomorrow, it *****) but after my baby is here is there anything I can do to make the stretch marks go away or at least make them not as visible? I have been putting cocoa butter everyday on my belly but clearly that didn't help..
Avatar f tn The only solution for stubborn stretch marks is laser...
Avatar n tn I was burned on July 17 after laser hair removal. It later peeled and I was left with white hypopigmentation marks. It has been three months and I have not seen any changes. Please let me know if this is permanent or if there is any treatment for this.
Avatar f tn I am 25 and have 2 kids. I have severe stretch marks on my stomach, arms and sides. I have smaller stretch marks on thighs. Retin A isn't covered by my insurance. Is there another remedy that I could use to help. Only a few have a little bit of red color to them and all are over 3 years old. I can't afford to have laser surgery either. I want something to help so i can feel comfortable in my own skin again. What can I do?
Avatar m tn My sister got stretch marks super early and super bad during her pregnancy with her son and I wanted to try and prevent them as much as possible. I know it is mostly genetic, and gaining the appropriate amount of weight will hopefully help prevent them. I was curious if it is safe to use vitamin E oil during pregnancy? I know you are supposed to stay away from taking supplements, but I am not sure if topical application is ok. Also someone recommended almond oil?
1754670 tn?1312378295 so i got stretch marks in my teens and have failed to find away to get them off. please advise me on how i can get rid of them.
Avatar f tn better get rid of stretch marks as soon as possible thta appear. I had stretch marks on arms and belly i got removed by using stretch marks cream. you could find some great products here http://www.medermastretchmarks.com with 100% money back guarantee. there is no use if you don't apply cream daily and properly. if you don't like cream/oils then try some natural remedies, but that will take time to get rid of stretch marks. other option is that laser treatment, but its very costly.
Avatar n tn t seem as though I had many stretch marks, but as I have continued to lose weight I have noticed more and more. I am particularly distressed about some that have appeared on my under arm in the tricep area as well as in my armpit and torso area. They are not discolored, but are very deep and highly noticeable. Is there anything that I can do to minimize their appearance?
Avatar m tn Most stretch marks fade with time, but in the mean time there are several products out there that claim to fade the stretch marks. • Apply cocoa butter into the stretch marks. • Massage with vitamin E oil into the stretch marks, especially after shower. • Apply tretinoin cream after consulting your doctor, since this cream is available by prescription only. • Eat foods that are rich in vitamin A, E and C. You can take supplements along with your regular diet.
Avatar f tn i've lost alot of weight yes it leaves stretch marks just use bio oil and make sure you walk enough cos it'll tighten your skin and it'll disappear little by little good luck!
Avatar f tn Hello, Your symptoms are suggestive of striae or stretch marks. Stretch marks can appear when there is rapid stretching of the skin like in pregnancy. They occur because the collagen and elastin that bind your skin are stressed during weight gain, resulting in tears in your skin's elastic fibers. There is no specific care for stretch marks. The marks often will disappear after the cause of the skin stretching is gone.
Avatar f tn hi,im 28yrs old and have visible stretch marks in my shoulders and hips.is there any cream available in india which can help diminish these marks?im not interested in going for laser treatment.is there any other way to remove these stretch marks?please help.thank you.
Avatar m tn However, after prolonged use of the cream, I have now got line-patterned stretch marks in my groin area (caused by folding of skin (dark) and thinning of skin (light) ), and around them, there's darkened skin, which is slight shinny when there's light. So far, no one has noticed it yet, in bed I mean. But it always worries me that my partner would eventually find out about it. Does anyone have the same problem? Or did anyone?
Avatar n tn Help I have stretch marks after giving birth of my 1st baby now he is 6yrs old.any products/procedure that inexpensive but effective?
Avatar f tn I have lots of stretch marks too... ): hopefully laser surgery... or creams will work after pregnancy... I'm 22 yrs old.. i still want to wear my two piece bikini!
Avatar f tn They never go away they just lighten up use coconut oil the real stuff it helps and continue to use them even after birth stretch marks are warrior marks remember the reason you have them :)
Avatar f tn When I think of stretch marks I think of the ones that are like scars and they feel like indentions. The ones I have arent indentions in my skin and theyre dark colored. What can I do for those? Ive used bio oil on my skin but I feel like lotions and oils would only help fade the scar ones of the surface. Anyone else have these types of stretch marks?
Avatar f tn If i could go back I would have tried the bio oil, I have never meant someone who used it and got stretch marks. After the baby I got a microneedler, or derma roller as they are sometimes called. I think it helped a lot. I also used baking soda in the shower to exfoliate my belly.
