laser

1123156 tn?1338863369 if you can afford it i suggest the laser treatments. im actually going tomorrow for my first session. at MY place they are $100 to $150 per session and you need 2-5 sessions depending on how bad they are and how many you have. they won't be completely gone but they will fade to the point where you can't see them. they also have a different laser that can change their texture...and almost get rid of the indentions that stretch marks make.
1950518 tn?1333219865 Its a 50/50 chance you will get them or you wont. The only way to completely get rid of them is to have laser removal. But in time they will deminish into these little silvery lines. But for at least the next year they are going to be purple. But look at the bright side...
Avatar m tn , i read about your suggestion for stretch mark.can u suggest me a name of a good stretch mark removal cream available in india?thank u.
4725768 tn?1358443971 Nothing will get rid of stretch marks except laser removal. The lotions help with the itching but it will not make them go away. Over time they will get lighter and turn a silvery color but the bright side...I got them with my first pregnancy and never got them again. It's genetics as to wether you get them or not.
303706 tn?1296876149 t make a lick of difference. I have a full back job which goes over scars, stretch marks and lots of various bumps and lumps and you can't even see the stretch marks anymore. I'm pregnant now and my tattooist told me to come back when I've finished breast feeding and he'll tidy it up so if I get any new stretch marks I won't be able to see them. Gotta love a good tattoo!!
Avatar f tn Laser therapy and dermabrasion, alone or in combination have also been shown to be effective in diminishing the appearance of stretch marks. For that you need to consult a dermatologist. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn t get anything with my 1st pregnancy, with my 2nd I got a few on my sides after been connected to the IV for over 32hrs (during labor), im currently 28wks and started noticing a few stretch marks around my navel I always used cocoa butter and It help with my first but not with this pregnancy it all depends on your skin, genes, if u drink water, eat healthy manage your weight.
Avatar f tn There is nothing you can do unfortunately. You either get them or you don't even if you take every "preventative" step in the books. Skin type genetics etc. Play a roll in if you will get them or not. I know there are creams to lighten them but ive heard theyre not safe during pregnancy. Ask your dr. And maybe consider laser treatments. My mother didn't have stretch marks so fingers crossed I won't. If so, I will def be getting laser treatments!
Avatar n tn Hello, There are 5 types of laser hair removal systems. These include pulsed light, Nd YAG laser, diode laser. Alexanderite laser and ruby laser. This depends on the skin type and varies from patient to patient. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist for the skin type and then depending on that, laser hair removal can be decided.
Avatar n tn t seem as though I had many stretch marks, but as I have continued to lose weight I have noticed more and more. I am particularly distressed about some that have appeared on my under arm in the tricep area as well as in my armpit and torso area. They are not discolored, but are very deep and highly noticeable. Is there anything that I can do to minimize their appearance?
Avatar m tn My sister got stretch marks super early and super bad during her pregnancy with her son and I wanted to try and prevent them as much as possible. I know it is mostly genetic, and gaining the appropriate amount of weight will hopefully help prevent them. I was curious if it is safe to use vitamin E oil during pregnancy? I know you are supposed to stay away from taking supplements, but I am not sure if topical application is ok. Also someone recommended almond oil?
Avatar f tn Well I think it's commen for every women or at least majority of women to get stretch marks. I use cocoa butter 2-4 times a day. Once you have stretch marks they will always be there. The oil helps the marks not be so noticeable and red\purple.
Avatar f tn I don't think you can get rid of the stretch marks - unless laser treatments or something of that sort can help (I don't know). But zinc deficiency and high cortisol levels are two reasons people get stretch marks. Look it up on the internet. Do you have white spots on your fingernails (zinc deficiency)? Many people need a gluten free diet to start absorbing zinc again. Look into it and see what rings a bell for you. Good luck and hope this helps!
Avatar n tn Massaging the breast skin with the moisturizing agents at least twice in a day may also help. Others opt for surgical means or laser treatment. Discuss which option is best for you with your doctor. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn I always see lots of new stretch marks creams/ lotions in the market with high price tags. I have tried some for the last 10 years but they work. I have medium brown skin so my stretch marks (on my legs, thigh, buttocks) are very visible. I am 39 yrs old and have never worn bikini, never worn minis and didn't get married becos of these stretch marks. Is there any treatment that will make stretch marks disappear completely??
Avatar f tn Anything to get rid of stretch marks? Or take away the redness?
Avatar f tn The only solution for stubborn stretch marks is laser...
Avatar f tn Hello, Your symptoms are suggestive of striae or stretch marks. Stretch marks can appear when there is rapid stretching of the skin like in pregnancy. They occur because the collagen and elastin that bind your skin are stressed during weight gain, resulting in tears in your skin's elastic fibers. There is no specific care for stretch marks. The marks often will disappear after the cause of the skin stretching is gone.
Avatar m tn Most stretch marks fade with time, but in the mean time there are several products out there that claim to fade the stretch marks. • Apply cocoa butter into the stretch marks. • Massage with vitamin E oil into the stretch marks, especially after shower. • Apply tretinoin cream after consulting your doctor, since this cream is available by prescription only. • Eat foods that are rich in vitamin A, E and C. You can take supplements along with your regular diet.
Avatar f tn Laser therapy and dermabrasion alone or in combination have also been shown to be effective in diminishing the appearance of stretch marks. For that you need to consult a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
