Common Questions and Answers about Laser removal cellulite

Avatar f tn The FDA has approved massage and combined laser/massage therapies as a away to treat cellulite but they are approved only for the temporary decrease in the appearance of cellulite and require ongoing treatments to maintain any effect. Eating a healthy diet and keeping muscles toned by regular exercise seem like reasonable approaches to keeping the body as taut and smooth as it can be. ref:

Avatar n tn They also do laser hair removal, cellulite reduction and skin/facial type things. Does anyone else use Oasis in Brandon? Also should I ask about getting HCG shots? They did not mention those but after reading the forum(s) I am interested.
Avatar n tn But if it does not, then corticosteroid injections and surgical removal by scalpel or laser are done by a dermatologist. It then has to be differentiated from other mucocutaneous lesions also. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Avatar f tn The Dr. explained that lipodissolve is the destruction of fat removal and mesotherapy is for cellulite. He also gave her lipotropic injections and told her to stay on a 1200 calorie diet while she was getting the treatment. It took a total of 6 treatments for her to look like a total babe. I am waiting to get it done, but still need to lose some weight, the great part is that the Dr.
Avatar n tn I live in NJ and had never heard of this treatment until I went to the doctors (my brother works at the place as their head massage therepist) I was initialy going in for cellulite and they recommened me getting my "saddle bags" taken care of since they think it is the cause. Anyway I am suppose to go next Tuesday for my first treatment. I am nervous because I have been to other sites and heard horror stories! it is not FDA approved and that makes me second think this.
Avatar n tn I had one laser treatment but it was a freebie and did nothing (SmartXide Dot laser) I've done all this for well over a year and NOTHING has improved. I look like a 40-year-old with an 80-year-old's arms. I live in Canada, so have more opportunity to cover my arms than someone living in Florida and cover them I do. I am embarrassed by them. I feel shocked when I look in the mirror. So ladies, I empathize fully. If I find a solution, I will post for you all.
Avatar n tn Does this help cellulite? Would it be recommended to wait until bikini season is over before getting any treatments? Does everybody bruise? (I don't bruise very easily at all so I'm looking for another "non-bruiser" to comment). Is the swelling so bad that I won't be able to hide it from my husband? Can anybody comment who is a non-responder to lipodissolve? Any comments would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn I decided it must have something to do with shaving and so, at the age of 50, I have started to have laser hair removal on my lower legs. Low and behold, it seems to be working. I rarely have the itching anymore. And usually, it is just before my next session. And the shaving that used to make the itching worse, doesn't anymore! It is expensive but totally worth it if it makes that doggone itching stop.

Avatar n tn I've had so many surgeries on or near my abdomen (C-Section, gall bladder, ovary cyst drained, ovary removal, hysterectomy, DNC, lapro, four colonoscopies) plus some out patient procedures. I was taking Naproxen and Spironolactone and just stopped taking those. I've had to go back to my doctor two different times since the removal of my left ovary and get an injection in my belly (where my left ovary used to be) because of scar tissue and a trigger point.
Avatar m tn I notified all of my doctors when I realized what was going on and they all told me that the belief that mercury fillings cause migraines was quackery and that insurance would not pay for the removal. They all wanted to give me drugs to mask the symptoms. At the beginning of 2009 I decided to just pay out of my pocket to have the fillings removed. I then followed the removal with a heavy metal detox called HMD.
