laser

1161702 tn?1277417331 I am a man and I most assuredly prefer pubic hair removed, just as I have had laser hair removal treatments to remove my pubic hair. I am not willing to ask a woman to do something I would not do myself. If all you are interested in is just intercourse, then I guess the hair really doesn't matter. However, if you would like oral sex, too, then the "cleaner" the better and the more likely you are to get it.
Avatar m tn Thanks to modern technologies women need no longer suffer the periodic pain of hair removal by shaving, tweezing or waxing. Laser hair removal is a fast, relatively painless process that guarantees near permanent results. If you are bothered by hair on legs, arms and your body then laser hair removal in Delhi is both quick and affordable. The process is carried out by a trained and expert cosmetic surgeons using state of art laser equipment.
Avatar n tn I have no experience or data with either waxing or laser hair removal but would expect them to be less likely to spread the infection. I hope this helps. Many of the questions and considerations, as before, are things you should be discussing with the doctor who treated you.
Avatar n tn I've used different types of ingrown hair, razor bum removal creams. Nothing seems to work for back there. I'm so scared there's nothing I can do, I've seen men and the back of there heads where this problem persists for years. I do not want that for myself, I don't know what to do, if surgically removing them is the answer or laser hair removal. idk. Someone help please.
Avatar n tn I perform laser hair removal services for women and have no experience with treating men for the same. I have heard that there are areas of hair distribution on the male back that when treated could cause paradoxical hair growth stimulation. Does anyone know if there are precautions pertaining to the particular male hair distribution so I do not cause an untoward effect?
Avatar n tn , bleaching with hydrogen peroxide), to temporary removal by waxing, or permanent removal by electrolysis or laser destruction of hair follicles. ref:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertrichosis ref:http://en.wikipedia.
Avatar f tn look into electrolysis it is painful and takes time, but what sold me on it is, the transgender community swears by it. it is supposed to have more permant effects than laser and is cheaper although you have many more sessions. If it can make men with 5'oclock shadow have a smooth non hairy face. I'm willing to try. Also consider having your hormones checked. I'm going through the same thing. Hang in there.
Avatar n tn I would like to point out that laser hair removal has not been proved permanent. The only method of hair removal that has been shown to be permanent is electrolysis. I myself was considering laser hair removal recently but have researched the topic on the web and have finally decided that it is too risky to invest in laser treatment. Considering that many men undergo electrolysis treatment, I don't believe any amount of excess hair can be "too abundant for electrolysis".
Avatar f tn If you're very hairy you can investigate laser removal of hair. I think after a few treatments it's supposed to be permanent. I don't think there is anything to make hair grow shorter permanently. Regardless of your sex, if you're concerned about your hormone levels, ask your doctor to check them.
Avatar n tn Just now, it is not fashionable for men to have body hair, so people like you who do feel terribly self-conscious. You are lucky in one respect: it's only on the last 5 years that we've had the technology to remove hair, and in that taime lasers have become better, faster, and cheaper. Tretament with drugs is not useful. Even so, laser hair removal is a job, and it can be expensive. There are many good lasers available.
Avatar m tn If your acne scars are like pinkish marks they're probably superficial and will fade within a year, using bio-oil can help. You can have laser treatment for scar removal. Men and women can also have laser treatment to remove unwanted hair and females can take the contraceptive pill Diane35 to combat both facial hair and acne.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know of hormonal treatments that work? FOR MEN? Women have all these drugs to help, but men have nothing.
Avatar n tn I was very self conscious about it growing up- for I couldn't find anything about girls with nipple hair. I actually had laser hair removal when I was 16, but it has all grown back which is unfortunate because it cost a lot! I still pluck when their long enough, but they do become ingrown and I end up having some scarring as well. My boyfriend never even noticed when we first got together, I couldn't believe it. It goes to show that men miss detail. It was a huge relief for me.
Avatar m tn Removing the hair on the shaft is totally fine, as long as you're not using hair laser removal. In many cases, people report that laser removal causes hyper/hypo-pigmentation (black/white patches occur), and they hardly go away, or they do after a really long time.
Avatar m tn I had a stent for 1 week after my 1st stone was removed. Since the removal of the stent, I have had waves of severe back pain similar to the initial pain I had when I discovered the stone. I heard the ureter can spasm as it heals and this blocks the urine flow in the kidney causing the pain. How long should this last? What is the best way of managing the pain?
Avatar n tn so Now I am in consistent pain and will need to schedule surgery for a left ovary and fallopin tube removal. The only horrible thing I remember from the 1st surgery is the Gas in Shoulders.. Can you say OUCH!
Avatar n tn Pseudofolliculitis barbae, on the other hand, is a very common ingrown hair condition on the beard area of men that presents with groups of red bumps on the beard area that may flare with repeat shaving. Other treatment options include professional laser hair removal, electrolysis, electric razors, or cream depilatories. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn Just wondering if anyone knows roughly the recovery time for a removal of a ovary, also scar tissue. I only took 1 week after my operation. i wonder how i will feel and if that is enough time. i work in a office but i have 60 stairs to climb to get to my office.
Avatar n tn I read someone got laser hair removal on their stomach.. if that person is reading.. it is gone for good? If so.. it'll def be the one thing I save my money for.. to be rid of this feeling & HAIR is something I have wished for a long time! <3 thanks for the knowledge I'm not the only one.. I love all of the girls that have posted on this site!
Avatar n tn I believe it must have happened when they first shaved my face (standard procedure for laser hair removal)- yet the shaving opened all the little acne bumps and must have allowed it to spread. Someone mentioned diabetes and menstral cycle problems. I have very irregular periods and have been diagnosed with " PCOS " (a pre-diabetic stage). I know my facial hair is rooted to this problem, yet I do not know how to fix it.
Avatar n tn So is there any STD that looks like a pimple or ingrown hair bump that only shows up in the pubic hair region? I've checked the internet for symptoms of herpes and genital warts and neither seem like they are what I have which is more like what everybody in this forum's talking about a ingrown hair in the pubic hair region?
Avatar f tn By consensus, plucking the hair is painless and a good solution. For some women, it is a trapped hair, yet for others there is an obvious root to the hair and a history of the hair growing. There doesn't appear to be any risks associated with plucking the hair, but if the pain persists it's best to visit your doctor. Dr.
748543 tn?1463449675 For the past few weeks I have been throwing around ideas as to the best way to respond to this matter. You see a recent article ( Feb.3 , 2009 NY times) titled "Best treatment for TMJ May be Nothing" nearly made me clench my jaw to pieces. While well written, I found that the author, Ms. Brody, relied heavily on out dated and narrow perspective supplied to her by a small group of dentists.
162948 tn?1205256292 Hey missy, I've had the IUD in for about 3 1/2 months now. Although we have not taken it for a 'test drive'... still... um, I'm getting spontaneous spotting. 485259 tn?1519050626 Don't plan on doing much for at LEAST a week or two. If you are lucky like some, you'll be up and at 'em. But if you're not, then you won't be disappointed and frustrated. 2. Make or buy muffins. Especially bran. You will need them. Don't ask me why. Ok...why? Because your meds will constipate you and make your stomach hurt. AND you will be too tired to make food. You can buy stool softeners too, but they don't make for a tasty breakfast... 3.
Avatar n tn Hello, There are various methods like shaving, bleaching, depilatory creams, electrolysis or laser hair removal are available to remove the hair.Out of all these laser hair removal is the most long lasting.Nd YAG laser is very effective in long term reduction of hair.Risks include the chance of burning the skin or discoloring dark skin with the laser, hypopigmentation (white spots), and flare of acne. Pls consult a dermatologist/cosmetologist and discuss this with him/her. Hope it helps.
Avatar f tn Hello, PFB t is more common in men who have naturally coarse or tightly curling thick hair and in areas where hair is shaved or plucked. It can make the skin look itchy and red, and appear like pimples which can also get infected. You may let your beard grow for 1 month and then shave with a moisturizing shaving foam and single razor blade. Shave in the direction of the follicle, not against it and at night, apply a lotion containing glycolic acid to the affected areas.
Avatar n tn Hair growth patterns vary all over the map. We do a lot of laser hair removal, because hairlessness happens to be in fashion among both women and men these days. By those standards, you're right in step, and at no cost. Assuming you have matured sexually in other ways, in other words, your hair pattern may make you self-conscious, but isn't abnormal and can't be changed. If you have any doubts, you ought to see a doctor or endocrinologist.
145992 tn?1341348674 I am so ready for laser hair removal! Of course I am still debating whether or not to shave my legs on the 3 Day. No power there and i am not sure the showers are roomy or whether we are afforded the time necessary to shave.
Avatar f tn I use Nivea for Men hair removal creme. Yes, I am a woman! BUT my leg hairs are really thick and coarse. Not that I have much of them, only on my lower legs and even then mostly on the front! It's a roll on creme you leave on for 4 minutes, jump in the shower and scrape the lot off! Really nice and effective! I hate shaving as I have a few moles and they get knicked and bleed. You can get cold wax to put on and then rip off. I hate them!
