Avatar n tn but the majority of times blood came out in the sperm, or only after ejaculation during urination, or both in the sperm and the urine. once i woke up without having had sex that week and urinated blood. i tested my blood, sperm, and urine and the only abnormality was a high psa level. my dr said it is very rare and is that high in 40/50 year old. i did a biopsy for prostate cancer and my dr said that everything was ok. after the biopsy, i waqs back to normal.

He should see the Eye MD immediately with sudden increase of floaters, flashes or loss of peripheral vision. You need to ask he surgeon specifically about activity. As a generalization return to golf and tennis would be allowed by most surgeons after 7-10 days.
284078 tn?1282620298 In my practice, I find out the main priority and shoot for that first and if I can achieve it in the first eye then the second eye has some wiggle room for me to add some near or distance vision as desired. It is more of a DISTANCE plus some near added in or NEAR with a little distance added in.
Avatar f tn proper decision should be made whether to go for treatment/diagnosis or not etc In countries like India in order to reduce cost of medicine production especially eye products medicine's are produced with combination of several other ingredients, for example corticosteroids are contained in most products and are used indiscriminately for various minor problems like itching & most patients are unaware of possible side effects like cataract, glaucoma etc if they are used on a day to day basis
Avatar m tn I am now 1 week after the surgery in my right eye (Symfony). Left eye clear from cataract - so untouched (myopic: -4.25) - I use a contact lens in this eye. My results - good distant vision (with good contrast - also at night), intermediate - quite good - I can read a computer screen quite well, near - needs to improve - I can not read a newspaper with my right eye. Flickering - I also have it sometimes, most of the time not disturbing.
Avatar m tn I had a cataract in one eye only but I chose to have cataract surgery in both my eyes. My post-surgery distance vision in the eye without the cataract is at least as good as my best-correct vision was before surgery. I've never had a problem with my IOLs.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone. I'm 35,with really high myopia ( -17 in left eye and -22 in right eye)astigmatism and cataract in right eye not impairing sight. Use rigid gas permeable contacts and get along "fine". Have had gas bubble in left eye and laser in both for retinal tears/holes. The only procedure I'm considering is IOL when absolutely necessary. I've never heard of anyone with myopia this high. i'm really worried about future prospects.
Avatar f tn Some of them had to be left in my eye because it was too dangerous to remove them. So the vision in my right eye is far worse than the left eye which still has the restor lens in it. I'm stuck now with the restor lens in my left eye forever because it is too dangerous to risk anymore damage to my vision. This is an example of what can happen. Don't let it happen to you. It's too late for my vision. There is no fix.
Avatar m tn I'd be curious if anyone has more comments on getting a multifocal in only one eye with the problem cataract and wearing a contact lens in the other (which is still correctible to 20/20 with only an early cataract). The hope would be that perhaps before it goes bad a new generation of lenses might come out, like an accommodating lens that is more likely to work well than the ones out there now. Any suggestions for good doctors to get them from, preferably laser cataract surgery?
748543 tn?1463449675 One of the most difficult concepts to get across to my TMD patients and other doctors is the connectivity of the Jaw and the Neck. In fact, it is my strong belief that TMD/TMJ should really be classified as a Craniocervical Disease and hence fall under the umbrella of medical coverage rather than treated strictly as a dental problem. To the Neuromuscular-minded dentist, "Occlusion" is an extension of general Postural Consideration.
748543 tn?1463449675 TMJ' as it is wrongly called by many) is easy to treat and self-manage or that it may all be in the patient's mind. The sources in the article stated that, "TMJ problems were originally thought to be caused by dental Malocclusion but that this was an infrequent cause of the problem". The American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), an organization of some 40,000 of the nation's leading dentist, recognizes the relationship between maloclussion and headaches.
Avatar m tn The Flip-Turn is the original, and still the best Sinus Flush. WARNING! DISCLAIMER! The technique in this manual involves bending over in a hot shower. Obviously, if you bend over in a shower, there is a slight possibility that you can get dizzy and fall down. You could possibly hit your head, get knocked out, or break something.
Avatar n tn As soon as the weather started to change in August (same time I got all of my issues last year), the ear got worse and once the colder weather hit a couple of weeks ago here in NJ, my eye started to puff out and the areas above and below my right eye started to feel kinda funky. Sort of painful, but not excruciating. Same thing happened last year. It's extremely frustrating. I'm attributing all of my issues to allergy/sinus/deviated septum.
363682 tn?1299492962 In the past I was able to drink a little or a lot and would be fine. Starting maybe a year or two ago I end up getting a headache in my left eye and temple. The weird thing with my headache is that it doesn't happen until two days after drinking. For instance this Saturday I went out for a couple friends birthdays and got pretty drunk. Woke up on Sunday slightly hungover and soon felt fine with no headache.
Avatar n tn 55 AM A few years ago I start having bad headaches more on the left side, some twitching of the facial muscles around my left eye and cheek, pressure in the left ear, and from time to time unbearable pressure and fuzziness in my head which goes with poor work performance. I can barely make it to bed. My ENT Doctor ordered an MRI of the internal auditory canals and I was diagnosed with a middle ear infection and Eustation tube dysfunction.
393685 tn?1425816122 Right now I have Hyperparathyroidism and will probably be having a parathyroidectomy in about 3 weeks. I have heart disease which resulted in a triple bypass in 07, hypothyroidism, CREST(a less aggressive form of scleroderma), fibromyalgia, controlled hypertension and thats the bulk of it. I use the trackers here and am just getting used to using the forums.
Avatar n tn In May I began to have dizzy spells which coincided with a sore throat and earache, which cleared up on their own. However, dizziness and fatigue continued for several weeks. The dizziness resembled being carsick, with lightheadedness and occasional moments of nausea and feeling faint (but I never passed out). I had a CAT scan and blood work twice, and so far no diagnosis for the dizziness/fatigue.
Avatar n tn First one on my face, swelled up the size of a goof ball under my eye. I went to the Demo and they shoot a steriod in it...it had popped the day before I went in. Now I have a scare from it or the steriod..not sure. Then I started get them in the inner thigh...that seems to be their favorite place. GRRR. I am now 28 and still suffering from them. I have noticed that they only come when I am stressed...like deathly stressed! Anyone know why? Why are we all having these all the sudden?
Avatar n tn Thats whats wrong with most dr's atleast in my experience in that they don't think outside the box enough possibly because this is what they learned. I think I/we can guess or prognose just as well or better than they can at times particularly if we know something about health and or ourselves and our own health. Never be afraid to speak up because I feel strongly that digestive tract problems are real and translate into other real nasty symptoms like this.

Avatar n tn Hi I m a 28 year old and suffer some degree of ED in recent. I start masturbated since I m 19 and usually use porn as a form of visual stimiulation. I have observed that I have lost the ability to maintain erect during intercource or I only get weak erection. My question is: does masturbation in association with porn will "exhaust" my interest towards sex and create a negative impact on my ability to get aroused in real sex?
