laryngitis young children

Hey ladies i hav a question an it may be a silly one but im a first time mom so im just curious if you been told the same thing... They have told me NOT to carry young children now that im pregnant... Anyone else???

Now I have post nasal drip and my laryngitis is still there although getting better. I have done everything for the laryngitis, steam, cool mist humidifier, room temperature water (about twelve 8oz glasses a day), resting my voice. It is getting better very slowly. Now I have a post nasal drip and I am coughing up greenish/yellowish sputum but it's from the back of my throat not my lungs anymore. I am going to try a nasal rinse today.

Okay, since 1992 I have had lots of throat infections in 1995 I had my tonsils and adanoids removed to help however it never did. And still had aleast 7 throat infections and laryngitis a year but since January this year I have had 20suvere throat infections all with laryngitis.

However, a side effect of both medications is laryngitis. I recently had laryngitis for 6 weeks. It started as a virus and would not go a way. I decided it was my atrovent neb (an anticholinergic like Spiriva). My allergist thought it was my Dulera (inhaled combination med like Advair). I eliminated the atrovent and reduced my Dulera and the laryngitis healed. She needs to discus any changes in dosage with her doctor before making changes.

But I really admire young mums! It also means by the time they have all grown up you will still be young!

im desperate for help im 20 years old and im terrified i wont be able to have children coz i had an eating disorder im so scared ill be infertile please help how do i know if ill be able to concieve ?

Hello, I recently discovered friable, breaking asbestos pipe insulation in my basement. We are going to have air quality testing done, and have considered dust wipe testing as well. I am extremely concerned for my family's health, including very young children, and would really appreciate any help you could provide! We stored the a/c units in the basement uncovered for at least one year, and covered for 2 additional years, using them in the summertime.

I know children are curious but is this normal for children at his age to talk about this? We only have 2 bdrms so that is why they share a room. We are both in shock and don't know what to do or how to handle it. Any advice would be great!

My son did just get over viral laryngitis that turned to bacterial laryngitis. He was treat with a Ceftin type drug for 14 days. He also to 60mg of steriod for 3 days, could not talk for 9 days. Before the surgery I very rarely ever got laryngitis but now it comes on so easily and lasts for a while. Is there any reason that this would be connected to my thyroid surgery? I wnet to a Doctor before getting on my return flight and he said he thought I had laryngitis likely caused by a viral infection. Therefore, he did not prescribe antibiotics. It has been about 9 days since the sexual encounter and I am wondering what my risk factors are. Could the oral sex have exposed me to an STD taht would cause a sore throat and laryngitis? If so, which STD would be most likely?

I have developed a chronic dry cough & laryngitis, currently I have been dealing with symptoms for a month. I went thru same illness 5months ago was in the hospital & then passed around to various specialists without any real answers. My son developed laryngitis about 2 months ago. It is severe so that he can not talk at all. His ENT diagnosed it as Muscular dysphonia. Let her know if she choose to have sex it needs to be done safely. Pregnacy is not the only risk she faces. THere are also many STDS that comes with unprotected sex.
