With my son I worked until they told me I couldn't. I literally worked until 3 days before I went into labor. They called and were like "we can't work you anymore and risk you going into labor on the job" 3 days later I was in labor. I plan on doing the same with this one.

It is OK for most women to take at 37 weeks because it is only a supplement to help ready you. It does not start labor. Once labor has begun, it can help move things along faster, but not before.

My husband has 3 jobs. I have none at the moment due to a high risk pregnancy and my doctor don't think it would be wise to have me work. But I hate that my husband is gone from 4 am to 10pm every night Monday through Friday because he working. Than comes homes eats dinner and goes to bed. I know he working and supporting me and our baby but it drives me nuts he works so much. Than on the weekends he busy fixing his car or hanging out with his friends that I get shoved to the side.

m not because at 31 weeks I was put on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy sure to preterm labor. I was planning on going back to work after the baby is born and what not but my boyfriend doesn't want me to he wants me to spend time with the baby. I really would rather just stay out of work because I know I'm going to want to be with him 24/7!

I'm due today as well no sure signs of labor or anything yet besides the same ol aches and pains that come with being preg. Last week I was told I was 1cm dilated but nothing else so far. Good luck with your pregnancies ladies!!

I work at Wells Fargo it's nice cause I get to sit and there's no actual labor involved. It can get stressful at times but that's gonna happen no matter where you work.

I'm a phlebotomist and I work part time in the lab at our local hospital. I'm going to try and work till I go into labor and hopefully I'll have enough pto to be able to take a few weeks off after I have the baby.

Anybody do this? Cause I'm afraid that when I'm in labor my hubby won't be there since he works 2 jobs. My family basically kicked me out of the family so I can't call any of them & I have no close friends. My hubby tells me that I need to make a new friend with a car just incase he can't be there in time but I don't feel the need for Friends. They're trouble. So I wanna just drive my car to the er.... Is it safe?

It's stinks!! I had to leave work early because of contractions...plus my feet were so swollen I could barley walk!! ....

Working til I wasnt able to helped A LOT during labor. I was able to tolerate the contractions more and recovered after labor easier. With my second I was up and pushing him around in his littke crib the same night - walking around the maternity ward and all.

When do people usually go on maternity leave? I work two jobs and I need to give as much notice as possible... and could I go back to work sooner if I chose to? I need to work as much as possible..

I'm aost 38 weeks... I'm only 1-2 cm dilated and my cervix is still high and thick. I am so depressed. The doctor said "looks like you still have a while" that about killed me. :( I'm over being this pregnant. I've had contractions for two days and some snotty discharge yet nothing is progressing.

ve never made it this far without a trip to the hospital with my other two kids. Well I should have knocked on wood because sure enough contractions have picked up today. I'm 25 weeks and I know the drill if I go in I'll get iv fluids and a few shots to slow the contractions. I so don't have time for this today. My son is going to Texas for the weekend and I have to get him packed at on the plane by 8:30 tonight.

When you have contractions or are in labor is all the pain down low? Or can it be higher up?

I never felt the period cramps while in labor. Everything I felt was in my lower back (back labor) it was terrible.

I went back out to labor and delivery . and i am in labor but its slow progressing labor and they sent me home . But not too much longer and my baby boy should be here !

I'm scared I'm not gonna know the difference between contractions and just pain from stretching muscles. I get pains here and there but that is from the growing. I don't want to go into preterm labor and I'm trying to stay hydrated and I know dehydration can lead to preterm labor. How will I know if I'm in preterm labor?

You could have back labor or front labor. You could feel it in your back, vagina, stomach etc. And i heard it feels like Direah and period cramps.

I'm 39 weeks and I only started drinking it 2 days ago. (4 cups so far). Can't tell you if it brings on contractions as I haven't felt any. On the box it says it's supposed to help tone the uterus, and help with menstrual cramps so that you'll have an easier labor, not necessary to induce labor. But after drinking 3 cups yesterday, my mucus plug came out and I was pooping a lot. And those are the signs of going into labor soon.

Doesn't really matter about how your cramps were before it's just the best analogy to use to describe what contractions feel like. They are like period cramps that grow in intensity, length and pressure.

How would you know if your n labor ... Will labor come out of nowhere ?? Or would you feel bad all day ??

Can yu ladies tell me what your first contractions felt like before labor? And how far along were yu when yu delivered. Im 34 weeks. Nd getting very nervous about this whole delivery ordeal.

for moms who have given birth already or experienced labor contractions. What do the first real contractions feel like ? Like does it hurt and will I know when it's an actual contraction? And will it come out of no where ?
