Hi, I just received the MRI results for my right knee. It shows to have: "Myxoid degeneration of medial meniscus posterior horn with knee joint effusion and suspected partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament for which clinical correlation is adviced". I get only right knee MRI due to its cost, but I'm suffering of similar pain on both knees. What does this mean? Is there any treatment I can do at home to relief the pain? Thanks!
1st time was in 1994, I tore them in my left knee, now I am 33 and tore them in my right knee. I had one month of PT prior to my surgery where I got my range of motion back and strengthened leg muscles. I selected the cadaver ligament over the other two options, esp since in 94 I had my patella tendon used and it has never been the same since. Numb, freaks me out to shave, NO ONE can go near it, hurts badly if i ever hit it on anything. Again.. this is 15 years later.
