Avatar m tn i have been struggling with the random images and songs while iam trying to fall asleep. These IMAGES ARE FROM MY PAST EXPERIENCES OR PRESENT EXPERIENCE BUT THEY ARE VERY RANDOM. IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE THESE IMAGES???
Avatar m tn Hyperintense signal in seen in both tibal condyles on FSEIR images appearing hypointense on T1W images suggestive of bone bruise/contusion. A moderate sized intra articular effusion is seen in the knee joint mainly in the supra and retro patellar synovial compartments. This looks hypointense on T1W images and hyperintense on T2W images. Anterior cruciate ligament is not visualized suggestive of full thickness tear. Posterior cruciate ligament appears normal.

Avatar f tn s really annoying as I hate missing my time in the gym. Currently, I am wearing the support band for my right knee and it definitely helps! But I still have pain from the knees/thighs Just wondering if theres any kind of meds I could take or gel I could apply to prevent soreness/injury in the future or any advice?
Avatar f tn I will be doing a lot of traveling this summer, lots of airports; does an orthopaedic boot support both knee and ankle? I use Voltaren gel and take Tramadol twice a day.
Avatar f tn I feel like sometimes my knee might give in, sharp pain with movement, pain when stretching and knee sore to touch (top left, below knee cap, lower right side). My follow-up to review the results of MRI is in 4 weeks and I'm in a lot of pain... besides P.R.I.C.E. is there anything I should avoid or do to help cope with my pain? I can share my MRI images if needed... thanks!
Avatar m tn region part is near the knee., and the Axial images are the type of view. Like theu cut the bone across it and lookie down on tp. (just a discription). It is all on google if you look for a bit.
Avatar f tn once over it, and he said that he thought it was 1 of 2 things, either my knee cap was messed up or down in my knee was, My question is this, what will happen if I don't go to a doctor ( he told me some kind to go to but i forgot, and I currently have no insurance), and does anyone know what it could possibly be and what kind of doctor I need to see?
378273 tn?1262097621 Had MRI for knee sprain. Ortho says probable bone bruise. I get a copy of the MRI report and find numerous other issues that he did not even mention. Did he not read the report and just went by the MRI images? Is this usual? Shouldn't doctors go over the report with the patient?
Avatar f tn 2 cm short axis ossified intra-articular body centered along the inner aspect of the lateral femoral ondyle at the posterior intercondylar notch, posterior of the cruciate ligaments (axial images 15; coronal images 7). Additional intra-articular body, slightly smaller, centered along the anteromedial femoral condyle (axial images 14; coronal images 16). Joint effusion with scattered foci of synovial proliferation.
2110593 tn?1334180717 So I've had these seemingly permanent, perfectly round bumps on my left arm (and mainly only my left arm, with the exception of one on my right knee). I don't know what they are. They aren't red, they don't itch, and you can pick at them and skin will come off, but they generally won't bleed (but they won't go away either). The first one I noticed showed up in 5th grade on my middle finger. What could these be?
Avatar n tn Right knee radiograph, 12/7/15 FINDINGS: Menisci: Medial meniscus: Horizontal tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus with extension into the body. Lateral meniscus: Small amount of signal within the body of the lateral meniscus, might represent a small tear with adjacent small parameniscal cysts. Ligaments: Anterior cruciate ligament: Mild increased signal within the anterior cruciate ligament, might be related to prior sprain.
Avatar n tn Hi all, I am not sure why I am writing down all this. I guess I am looking for some support. It's been almost 5 months now since my high risk exposure. The anxiety gets worse and worse, so I finally decided to go back to my home country to do the final test. I've been tested negative after one week and 39 days. It didn't really give me much relieve. rather the opposite: I got so anxious that I couldn't go to a further test.
Avatar m tn Got images for my knee with whatever it is out of place, and its pretty clear in them something is not right, if that would help.
Avatar f tn I never fully recovered from either TKR. I am having major issues with the right side of my body which includes hip, groin, leg, knee all the way to the bottom of my foot. I have difficulty with stairs, dressing, socks, shoes. Cannot squat. I am wondering if what I see on my xray( r) could be my problem? Not sure if its loose, not glued, crooked...also my Left TKR does not look centered or aligned right? I would appreciate any input, suggestions, opinions.
2031435 tn?1336008840 I am not going to do one but I looked into one and they told me the best time is 27-33 weeks, they told me it's a boy at one sonogram and it's a girl at the next one but I will have another sonogram on the 1st and then I will have one every two weeks until my c-section on May 3rd so I will be able to make sure she's a girl.
Avatar n tn I had a bad fall about a year ago where I landed full force onto my knee which resulted in swelling and bruising that went from my knee down to my foot. I had pain on certain movements from then on. When I would get up sometimes my knee felt like it gave out. Also since then I have not been able to kneel down without pain in the kneecap.
Avatar m tn Because of the atrophy in my leg, I will have to wear a brace for the rest of my life and this brace seems to be the one that gives me the most support. I hope your knee is better and you do not have to wear a brace indefinitely but if you do, I recommend the Donjoy Defiance III. It is a custom fitted brace. Your doctor should be able to help. Best wishes to you and stay positive. You'll be fine...
Avatar f tn I am 22 yrs old i have had 2 total knee recon. on my knees. I have just hurt my knee in jan. and been going through the process of PT and doc vists. But i just went and got an MRI on my Right knee. Everything came back normal but one thing is bothering me. The MRI report said: with note of mild myxoid degeneration in the posterior medial meniscal horn. Can someone help me understand??
Avatar f tn From the report alone, it does NOT sound severe. But I have not seen the images, not have I examined you. Again, it really is not wise to offer opinions base on an MRI report alone. I think its a good idea for you to wait and see what your new orhtopedist has to say.
Avatar n tn I need a MRI of my knee. I don't think mineral make-up is a problem do you?
