for about 2wks now my right knee has been giving me problems in 33 years old and im on high blood pressure meds and the reason unknown why i have it and my ?
leg weakness (causes my walking to be more of a waddle) - numbness - calluses - knee problems (due to the weakness which would cause more pressure to the knees.)
That's my theory but from the neuro's mind I don't have no problem even though he was the one that noticed the weakness.:( Sorry for the vent. Just had to get it out!!
It's possible that it caused the problems in your left knee, but it's also possible that the cartilage tore for other reasons, like overuse or aging. Did you do physical therapy after you have your surgery? Why have you needed to favor your right knee all this time?
The pain occurs directly behind her left knee, and sometimes on the front left side of the knee. I can easily feel a pop in the front left side of the knee when her leg is extended.
When she went to physical therapy, the physical therapist pressed on her knee several times in different locations and also extended and contracted her leg to see if there was any pain, but she felt no pain. Her physical therapist said that her mechanics are off.
My bone that is on the side of my right knee is bigger than the other side. After walking for a halh hour my knee starts hurting and my leg from the knee down gets numb. I even get pain sometime even lying down. I have a bad back but I don't believe it is from that because the pain does not radiate from my back down to my foot like before. I have a herniated disc at my L5 S1 disc and I have some Arthritis on the L4 disc.
It sounds a little silly but when my husband was having problems with keeping it up and actually having an orgasm he found that making out like a bunch of teenagers really helped take his mind off of the stress. Maybe you could also try boosting up foreplay and making sex be more about him as he could be feeling very insecure about his body.
s thyroid is down, his cortisone levels low, his testosterone levels low and his growth hormone levels high. Taps of his knee removed up to 500 cc of fluid, but no evidence of anything specifically wrong inside the knee, just that it was being damaged. He looked gaunt and unhealthy.

t going to have a life without the meds, but we need to be very careful about giving meds to young people without trying therapy and everything else first -- youthful problems are not thought to be the same usually as adult problems. Even with adults these meds are a problem as well as a boon. You might very well have never found a better solution, but if one turns to drugs without trying other things first one never finds out. I'm not ruling it out, just urging caution. Peace.
I am sorry about your knee problems. I too have knee problems which were made worse by physical therapy. The one thing I have found that helps me is a good chiropractor treating my knee. Since you are on maternity leave I suggest that you also may want to find a good chiropractor to also treat your back.
Her symptoms have included anemia, speech problems (now we find out a swollen tongue is a symptom), soft tooth enamel and for the last 3 years she has had a muscular problem that causes her to freeze up and drag her foot. We've seen 3 neurologists and had numerous EEG's and MRI's, even a psychiatrist after being told (a lot) that it was in her head. Finally, after my insistance, they did a test of T3 and T4 and she was found to have low thyroid.

I feel for you. I was a teenage heroin addict and used for almost 30 yrs. I completely agree w/10356 and Atthebeach. Withdrawal will not kill your daughter and enabling is not the solution. It's one of the problems. Your daughter is at risk of arrest, destructive relationships, criminal behavior and, if she's IVing or moves to IV use: Hep B/C/D, AIDS, Endocarditis, Pneumonia, abcesses, etc. Definitely get to an Al Anon meeting in your area.

I don't have any type of support other than people supporting me to get an abortion.. I cry myself to sleep all the time because of it... It feels like my knee (the issue is not my knee) is locked and hyper extended when I walk at times. This comes and goes without much warning. The faster I work, the worst it gets and the slower my speed the easier it gets. Sometimes I can't even walk fast even if I try. I had it so worst after my first Zumba fitness prior to my diagnosis which ended me in ER.
I have a friend who would like to loose weight but has multiple medical problems. She has bursitis of the hip and knee, fibromyalgia (mostly affecting hands) and an umbilical hernia. She cannot walk far at all due to muscle weakness and gets fatigued very quickly. I would like to help her build up a bit of strength and loose weight to make her everyday activities easier. 3 weeks ago my surgical knee began to ache all over for no obvious reason. I mean it really hurt. I worried about infection because I haven't fallen, or done any other damage to it. It was better in a few day. Then a few days later the pain returned & disappeared again. Last week the pain came back with a vengance & it hurt in a very specific spot in the inside of the kneecap.
The pain is below the knee cap on the left and right side and ontop of the knee cap on the right side and on the inside of the knee from above the knee to below the knee. For the last week and a half I've been getting sharp pains on the right inside of the knee and above the knee while walking or turning from right to left. When this happens the pain is so bad that I can hardly walk. I've also been getting needle type pain below the knee cap in the center.
