I was pain free! Yahoo! Anyway the pain came back and I went again and this.time I had SYNVISC 1. The pain in my right knee os completely gone again. It can tqke up to a month after the injections to work. When the pain didn't go away in my left knee doctor ordered an MRI. I have a torn meniscus. So it won't work for that. I would recommend that you suould get the injections of you can find a doctor to do it. My doctor had to order the ORTHOVISC from the manufacturer for me.
I had keen surgery to fix a torn meniscal tear back in may and have arthritis in my keen in the bone for the last six months I have not felt a least bit better still have pain in back of knee and now have sever pain in the inner part of my keen after walking for just ten mins. I just had another MRI today and show the tear was still the but the doctor said that normal to still show the tear after being fix.
Really can't stick this pain much longer !! Having really bad pain in both knees can't walk up stairs or down hurts to bed or even sit someone help !!
I had my right knee TKR in June 2010, I cannot recall what the pain was pre-op, but I do know that it is very bad and has been since surgery. I have fairly good function with the knee and am able to do the work I love (I would be very depressed to lose that) but work is the whole of my life as it HURTS during the work day and it takes the rest of my day to 'recover' somewhat. I have pain in the night quite often and pain upon waking.
I am feeling pain in my right knee for 7 years now and all the doctors say they don't know the reason. One of my doctors did say I have bruising on the inside of my knee and gave me medication. After a few days, it wasn't working and the pain kept coming. I have a pain on the inside of my knee. It's constant unbearable pain. It hurts to where my whole leg gets numb and my feet gets cold. My knee also has this stingy feeling and they give out on itself.
He did an ultrasound and drew off some more fluid and gave him another cortizone shot. The first doctor drew the fluid from under his knee and the second drew it from his knee cap. It has been several weeks now and his pain is back he still has a little swelling but now both his knees hurt. He wears a brace on both his knees now. He has trouble getting up if he has to get down on the ground for something. We are not sure what to do now because both doctors has told him all his test look fine.
The pain started 2005, he was splitting up fighting kids and lifted one up and felt a twist.

After two months I had my gallbladder removed but the constant chronic pain did not go away. After another year I was diagnosis with SOD and had an ERCP with and biliary and pancreatic sphincterotomy with a stint put in. But this did not help. I have had every test known to man and everything comes back normal I am 26 years old and in constant pain 24/7 and I get sick from time to time and have acid reflux when I lay down. I can hardly work or go out and I am desperate for some answers.
t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.
I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.

I'm 19 years old. 3 months ago I went in for knee surgery. While I was in recovery they found me in 3rd degree heart block. I was sent home with a heart rate of 40 they thought it was just the pain meds. With in four hours I was unconscious on the bathroom floor with a heart rate of 15 quickly fading. I was rushed to the er and put in cardiac short stay for the night. They ran test after test to make sure anistisa had nothing to do with it.
I remember seeing a pediatrician for knee pain when I was 15 yrs old. The pain/swelling/stiffness/heaviness has progressively became worse over the years. Everyday I experience some type of joint pain, however, it is mostly in my legs/knees. I have seen orthopedics, neurologist, family physician, ER doctors all say I have some arthitis but nothing I take or do relieves the pain. I have missed alot of work due to the pain and not being able to walk.
Last year all I did was swing my legs out of bed and stand up when extreme pain shot through my knee. For the next 2 weeks I was limping and the pain was pretty severe. It started 5 years ago with pain going up and down the stairs. I saw an orthopedic and he told me it was overuse. Just 5 months ago I went to see him again and he ran an MRI and an X-ray. Almost a year and a half ago my boyfriend started to experience chronic knee pain. In February of last year he had a knee surgery to remove a hematoma and clotted blood and dead tissue. If I sit on a chair for a few minutes, then attempt to move my right knee, or stand up, I will experience excruciating pain all along my joint. It's mostly under my kneecap. My left knee is perfectly fine. The thing is, though, that it isn't because of long periods of inactivity. If I wake up in the morning and sit on a chair for only a few minutes, the pain will be just as bad as it would be during the rest of the day.
