A week ago I went to my doctor because I was having pain in my left foot,.lateral foot pain. It's been going on for about 6 weeks. It would dull ache most of the time with sudden bouts of extreme pain in which it felt like a knife was digging in my foot. He did an xray and said it wasn't broken and prescribed anti-inflammatory medication. A week later and now I can't bend my left knee back and it's hurting to put pain on my knee.
Lateral knee pain and after walking awhile the back of knee hurts. Pain worst when bend knee or go up and down stairs. Pain always there just worst when bend it. Pain has woke me up at night if sleep with knee bent. Xray snd MRI normal so orthopedic said PT and if pain continues come back in a month. PT has me in tears. Should I get second opinion could MRI been read wrong. Help me i feel crazy and feel that the pain is in my head.
Since about the age of 6 I've had issues with my knee (I'm 18 now). My knees (and other joints) have always been pretty flexible. I can bend them into weird shapes. My knees crack every time I stand up. But the real problem is with my right knee. Anywhere from 1-3 times a year my knee will pop out of place. Not sure if it's dislocating or subluxating.
there is no definitive test for fibro - they do tests to rule out other diseases - is the pain in your knee or on the outside of the leg at your knee or the inside of the leg near your knee and have they checked for osteoarthritis - you said behind the knee - do you mean behind the patella (knee cap) or at the back of your leg behind the knee - try to be very precise when telling the doctor where exactly the pain is coming from - i dont know much about ms but i know pain comes with it - i belie
I sat for a while and the pain went away but every time I bend my knee I feel the pain again and feel discomfort in my kneecap. I went to bed, hoping the pain would go away but it still hurts when I bend my knee. What could this be? I will probably be visiting the doctor soon but for now what do you suggest?
While playing racket ball the sole of my shoe stuck to the floor causing my ankle and knee to slide outward. I felt my knee buckle. I am not experiencing any pain unless I twist my knee. There is a small bulge on the outside of my knee cap. No popping noising when I bend my knee, it is hard to totally bend due to tightness from the swelling. I can put weight on it, but having to be really careful walking due to any twisting motion causing pain.
It is fine if the knee is at rest or folded, but everytime I try to straighten my leg or walk, I feel the pain in the knee. While walking if I keep my knee bent a little, the pain lessens.
I remember no external injury or any other strain on my legs. There is no outside pain or swelling. Also, my knee feels stiff, like the locked knuckles which you bend and crackle to make it normal.
I have tried some common medicines but none did a thing.

Yes it always burning and it also feels like something is grinding, when i kneel or just bend the knee it pops and cracks. When i say "inside" its my right knee but the pain is on the left side. and yes it aches it doesnt help to keep straight or bent. i take tylenol and advil but nothing really seems to help, Its been hurting little over a month now....
I feel this is not swelling but somehow my knee bone is protruding when I bend my foot as it feels very hard (cant press it) to consider as swollen muscle.

At this point I was no sleeping 3-4 hours a night at best, some nights not at all due to the pain in my knee and shoulders. And when I did sleep it was a restless sleep. The pain in my knee was constant, I was waking up with two 'frozen' shoulders unable to even put a shirt on. My physical therapist suggested going to my regular doc and getting tested for lymes disease, so I did that and he did a bunch of blood work.
yeah the sae thing happened to me, last year my doctor said i didnt need PT so i didnt go and then developed scar tissue, it was horrible, right now since i had my brace off my knee is so swollen, i cant even bend it all the way yet. i have been working on it though. :) this was my 5th surgery, i dont want to have another, this surgery was horrible and my doctor asked me if i wanted PT and i said yes because of what happened last time.
I got there and the pain got worse. It is 8pm and I can not bend my knee, the pain is throbbing and I am just sitting here. It hurts for me to touch it. I have not fell or anything like that. The pain is behind the knee, top of my calf, and up my thigh. Please if you find something, please let me know.
My right knee hurts when it straighten sometimes. So the pain was sudden, I was standing and then suddenly I cant stand with my right leg because it was too painful, and when I try to straighten it, it was really hurt. But when I sit down or bend my leg, it wasn't hurt at all. But I still can't walk or stand because I have to straighten my leg when I walk. Hi there, I was riding a horse and my foot got caught on a panel and the horse kept going. This happened 3 days ago. It's hard to walk. I have swelling and pain on the inner side of my knee. I can bend my knee approx 45°. When I'm sitting or laying down I can straighten my leg but when I'm standing I can't seem to straighten it. My knee cap feels awkward when I try to. When I stand up from sitting i get an excruciating pain and blood rush feeling through my knee.
I dislocated my knee sometime ago.. Both have popped out multiple times.. The last nearly a year ago now popped out, now for a few months it's hurt rather bad to the point it wont bend without pain or I can't turn my leg.. Even walking hurts. The inner side of my right knee keeps doing this, yet subsides what should I do?
I have had this weird feeling in my knees and also some popping but only when i bend it, if i sit for more than two minutes my knee gets tight, sort of like my knuckles before i crack them, i am overweight but my knees don't hurt when i walk just when i sit or have to bend them at all also if i sit for a longer time and feel the need to stretch my legs out i feel as though my whole kneecap is rotating with my leg it's hard to explain but its as if i can feel my bones moving and grinding
Hi-A little over one yr ago I had my right knee replaced. I hadn't been able to bend my knee for about 4 yrs before the surgery - I have osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and degenerative bone disease - so the dr and I decided on a knee replacement. I can bend my knee now, and I've had the knee xrayed since the surgery and it looks ok. I ride a stationary bike every day for excercise. What I don't understand is why I am having SO much pain in my knee?? It's really very depressing!

From months im feeling stiff knee specially my left one. There is a click sound when i bend my legs more than 90 degrees and while i squat, there is no pain or swelling or anything. after one squat when i loosen my knees , there is no clicking in the next squat.
I can jump, runn, bend , run , play , hop as normal but clicking sound is awkward .
