So, your sensory neurons are intact, but ability to feel physical
pain is lost. CIP is of two types—insensitivity to
pain (which you have as you feel
pain but cannot perceive its intensity) and indifference to pain (where the person is indifferent to even huge amount of pain—you may have this component partially). Also, autonomic component may be partially damaged as you can hold stool and urine.
These are genetic disorders with problems in sodium channels and other defects.
