I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 1995, I have been on Synthroid ever since currently taking .125mcg daily. Started with knee pain in June of this year I now have severve pain in shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and all surrounding muscles. All blood levels within normal limits, as of July 08 M.D advised me to see a Rhumatologists appt. scheduled for 09/11/08. Also test results were negative for Lyme, Rhumatoid, Lupus positive for Epstine Barr.

I'm looking for someone to chat with and exchange stories and what not. I'm due Feb 26th but will be having a c-section scheduled the week before. I'm 28 and this is my third and likely last child. I have two boys, and pregnant with a girl. I live in the US (in the Midwest) if anyone has anything in common and is looking for a pregnancy friend comment or send me a message :) I don't have any friends who are at the same stage in their lives so it makes it hard to relate.

3 weeks ago i noticed that my left knee started clicking when i go upstairs or when i stand up from a seated position. It is painless with no history of injure or discomfort in the knee, i thought it will disappear by its own in few days but it is still there 3 weeks later, it does not sound like the normal popping that most joints does, it is a loud sound that i did not hear before, any suggestions? I am hoping that it will go away by itself. I am 29 years old female and am 7 weeks postpartum.

Sweating is part of abnormal thyroid levels - hypO and hypEr. Anxiety and palps in many cases, can also be from hypo thyroid - the brain and heart are not getting what they need and are working harder to get the job done. Many docs do not look this far into symptoms, or just dont know. You didnt ask, but it would be beneficial for you to post your last thyroid labs T3, T4 and TSH, I bet your still hypo.

my knee suddenly unlocked and went out on me then I fell to my hands. Have anyone else experienced knee problems during pregnancy. I think it is because of my upper weight gain and my lower half can't hold it.

5 months. Please advise me about my pregnancy doubts. I have been going through the same lower back pain etc symptoms that I usually witness near my periods. Kindly suggest what can I do. Is it safe to go through the termination process in case I needed. I have to breastfeed my child frequently as I got to know that I have to refrain from breastfeeding for 10 to 12 hours after taking termination pill.....

I can honestly answer that with a hell no lol. The worst part of pregnancy to me is what we go through afterwards - depression, no sleep, pain still from labor, uncontrolled bms and constant peeing, and not to mention the blood still as your body recooperates.

Me and my partner have had unprotected intercourse at least about 6 times after 5 weeks postpartum. I just took two pregnancy tests this afternoon, and both came out positive very faint. The second one darker then the first one. It was a FRER pregnancy test. I am breast-feeding, and have not gotten a period yet. Just curious on what you guys think. Could i pregnant this fast after birth? Or is it residual HCG. Because everywhere i looked HCG usually is back to normal by 4 weeks PP.

ll be 6) it seems time flies so fast. All the pain and sickness from being pregnant was all worth it and times like this I wish I still was. Enjoy it if and while you can :) any other moms with postpartum?

I'm 7 days postpartum and at first I sort of had the baby blues, more anxiety than anything. But now, I'm so happy to be a momma and be taking care of my little bean. But I just wanted to say that I cannot wait for my second. Did a lot of you experience cramping afterwards? With my first daughter, I didn't need a singke pain killer after having her. This time I'm loaded on them :/ I'm cramping ugly in my lower abdomen. Took one Motrin at the hospital and broke out in the WORST hot flash, so I've been trying to keep away from taking anymore. I'm stuck with Tylenol and it hardly helps.

While weight gain does put extra pressure on your knees especially and can cause pain this seems more than pregnancy related pain. Bruising could be a sign of anemia but it would usually occur in more than just your knee area. Maybe see your OB first than if needed they can refer you to a specialist.

Ok so I have really painful periods, and heavy bleeding, but besides this, I get extreme knee pain...well the pain starts where the leg and pelvis connect to the knee...The knee swells to a very big size and very painful to walk or move my knee and leg. I had a natural water birth, no tearing, and the pain was barely noticeable. A lot of people say how they had massive pain when weeing and pooing after birth for the first time, but the hospital gave me Ural which takes the acidity out of the wee, and it just felt normal, no pain whatsoever. As for the bowel movements, I took stool softener in the hospital and honestly, NO PAIN at all when doing it!

Nope! I had the worst baby brain ever, even 2 months postpartum I've still got baby brain. There's just so many hormones and so much going on your brain can't really focus on much other than BABY lol.

I had postpartum depression with my first pregnancy didn't know I had it until almost 3 months later that I had my son I would randomly cry feel sad but don't worry it goes away especially if you have people that can help you
