knee pain postpartum

3 weeks ago i noticed that my left knee started clicking when i go upstairs or when i stand up from a seated position. It is painless with no history of injure or discomfort in the knee, i thought it will disappear by its own in few days but it is still there 3 weeks later, it does not sound like the normal popping that most joints does, it is a loud sound that i did not hear before, any suggestions? I am hoping that it will go away by itself. I am 29 years old female and am 7 weeks postpartum.

Sweating is part of abnormal thyroid levels - hypO and hypEr. Anxiety and palps in many cases, can also be from hypo thyroid - the brain and heart are not getting what they need and are working harder to get the job done. Many docs do not look this far into symptoms, or just dont know. You didnt ask, but it would be beneficial for you to post your last thyroid labs T3, T4 and TSH, I bet your still hypo.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 1995, I have been on Synthroid ever since currently taking .125mcg daily. Started with knee pain in June of this year I now have severve pain in shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and all surrounding muscles. All blood levels within normal limits, as of July 08 M.D advised me to see a Rhumatologists appt. scheduled for 09/11/08. Also test results were negative for Lyme, Rhumatoid, Lupus positive for Epstine Barr.

I had a natural water birth, no tearing, and the pain was barely noticeable. A lot of people say how they had massive pain when weeing and pooing after birth for the first time, but the hospital gave me Ural which takes the acidity out of the wee, and it just felt normal, no pain whatsoever. As for the bowel movements, I took stool softener in the hospital and honestly, NO PAIN at all when doing it!

I been swellon for a week and i cant walk at all.

It seemed as though my postpartum bleeding had almost completely stopped unless i had a bowel movement. Then i would get some dark red blood and sometimes a small clot when i went. Then at 20 days postpartum my husband and i had intercourse for the first time since the birth. He was really gentle and slow, and i didn't experience any discomfort or pain during it.

I'm in my 4th week of postpartum...i've had sex twice but have pulled out at time of orgasims...i'm havin extreme back pain and less than mild abdomen cramps...am i just starting my postpartum period since i stopped breasfeeding or could i be pregnant again?

I had vaginal delivery and everything went well. I have a doubt that, complete bed rest is necessery during postpartum? In my country people says like we have to take rest atleast 1 month. But what i read in internet is , if you are comfortable in doing something do it. Its all depend upon your mood. i didnt do any heavy work. but i went for shopping 3 days after delivery. im doing my household activities. can you pls advise?

I have problems with my knees,just general stiffness-but one day I had to get down on my right knee and the pain was extreme,it wasn't necessarily in the knee but to the right side of the knee,it felt like the skin was splitting into,I look and the skin looked fine,so I don't know if it's the tendon or the muscle what ever it is,is very painful,in fact I can't get down on my knees any longer

did u have to get resticted? i had sex at 4 and a half.I didnt feel pain. but I am bleeding nightly now .

I had back pain throughout my pregnancy, and unfortunately, 7 weeks postpartum, it has gotten worse. You could try going to see a prenatal chiropractor.

SO I AM HAVING PRETTY EXTREME PAIN ONLY WHEN KNEEING ON LEFT KNEE--USUALLY DOMINATE KNEE THAT I ALWAYS KNEE ON WITH ALL MY WIEGHT ON FIRST. DOESNT HURT TO WALK ON OR BEND OR ANY OTHER MOTION. RECENTLY I CAN FEEL SENSATIONS FROM A LITTLE BELOW MY KNEE LIKE "PINS AND NEEDLES" BUT VERY SLIGHT. I CAN LIGHTLY TOUCH BELOW CENTER OF KNEE AND FEEL SAME PAIN WITH VERY LITTLE PRESSURE LIKE A SLIGHT RUB.

I twisted my knee and when it happen I heard and felt a pop on the inside of my knee. Also, now when I walk, I have pain and crackling on the outside, under the knee. When I am walking and I have to turn or piviot, I get a pain that runs the inside of my knee. And now I can just be standing there and my knee feels like it is really loose and feels like I hyperextended in, the knee pushes back. How ling should I wait to go to the doctor or should I continue to try and heal it myself.

Ever since then I cannot knee on a certain part of that knee. If I do I get a sharp, burning, stinging pain that quickly subsides once off the knee. I can walk and run on it fine, and have not experienced any swelling or other problems. I cannot feel any abnormalities on the outside. The pain is on top of the knee. Even pushing on a certain area it is is sensitive. What do you think?

which flared up my hemorrhoids causing some blood when I wiped as well as pain at my rectum when pooping. Things are much better pain wise now but every morning I feel pain in my stomach and can literally feel a long lump where my stool is and then it goes away after a BM. I still have very mild blood when I wipe, like a dot on the Toliet paper. But I've noticed aside from the dull pain that comes and goes, I still feel somewhat queasy worse in the morning but gets better throughout the day.

i mean he said he advised to do as much walking as you can afterward but save the more strenuous stuff for after 8 weeks so im pretty sure you should be able to do about whatever now but if it starts to hurt i would stop..

If the pain comes on bending the knee, then it could be due to Patellofemoral syndrome or runners knee. I can honestly answer that with a hell no lol. The worst part of pregnancy to me is what we go through afterwards - depression, no sleep, pain still from labor, uncontrolled bms and constant peeing, and not to mention the blood still as your body recooperates.

I have developed a Postpartum Thyroiditis. My CBC shows 5.47 thyroid, Low Rbs, Low Heamatocrit and Low Hb. My PCP says this is normal in postpartum peroid. Is it true? I have Hypothyroid symptoms like Dizziness, Wt Gain, Joint pain in wrist and Ankle, Irritability, pressure in the neck etc. Should this be treated? what other tests should be done to confirm Hypothyroidism? Please let me know ASAP, So I can change my PCP if needed. Thanks a lot.
