Avatar m tn can anyone tell me what is a good natural healing supplement for pain ? other than pills !!!!!!!
Avatar f tn A painful heel alters the way you walk, stand, even sit. This throws off your natural alignment so eventually your knee starts hurting, then your hip, up your back, and so on. Physical therapy could help with this. Good luck!
Avatar f tn Cranberry juice and lots of water may help to ease your symptoms until you see the doctor, but as above said definitely said we your doc. You will need antibiotics as a untreated uti can lead to kidney infections that can result in preterm labour.
Avatar m tn I just went back the other day for my follow up because my knee pain has gotten worse and he thinks i have damaged cartilage in my knee and if i do he said i need surgery. So if i do have to have surgery how long is the recovery and will i have to wear knee braces if i play these sports from now on?
Avatar f tn no other problem I go for check up regularly no any other problem every thing is good only pain in Knees also MRI done no problem found pain in knees and muscle pain in legs it's really hard to bend over.
Avatar f tn 4 weeks later, I developed a low grade fever and sudden onset severe pain in my knee joint and muscle aches in legs. It was quite severe and though i managed to walk about, was unable to stand for long. There were also pains in smaller joints of my toes and fingers. On movement there were clicking sounds, but no pain in shoulder and wrist joints. I also had pain in the skin of my soles and fingers, a left side tinnitus and weakness in the muscles of my left hand.
Avatar f tn I never felt anything give or pop. On Tuesday, I woke up with severe knee pain. It feels really unstable and hurts when I walk.
Avatar n tn After some weeks with therapy the knee still feels unstable laterally. Front to back movement was very good, Pain developed on medial side of knee and the patella tendon when walking. When I move the knee or walk I can feel it 'clicking" and 'shooting" pain from the patella tendon The Doctor says that there is still some swelling in the knee. He has recommended synvisc treatments without ordering a new MRI. Will the synvisc reduce the pain and swelling?
Avatar m tn If it is just occasionally popping with no pain, it could be nothing and some exercise like knee bends could strengthen your knee. On the other hand, it is painful too especially with swelling you may want to see a doc. If your knee is making a grinding noise for example it could mean that the cartilage is wearing down. Especially if this continues to bother you check with your pcp or an orthopedic specialist before exercising or anything!
Avatar m tn I have had knee pain in my left knee for about 3 years now. When i am sitting on a chair and i straighten my left leg the pain occurs, and there must be something wrong because my right knee is fine. I also get the pain when i am lying in bed. The pain is most apparent when i lift my left knee cap, you know how you can tense or whatever and your knee cap will move up.
Avatar m tn A related discussion, <a href="/posts/Orthopedics/Natural-Pain-relievers-after-total-knee-replacement/show/2008804">Natural Pain reliever's after total knee replacement</a> was started.
Avatar n tn I would suggest you physiotherapy as a cure for this and if it does not work or if you have other symptoms in your knee then go for an MRI and diagnose the problem and consult an orthopedician. Take care!
Avatar f tn Hair loss, fatigue, muscle pain, constipation, depression, neck pain, GERD, joint pain, etc? If you occasionally get the opposite symptoms, anxiety, diarrhea, rapid heart rate, then you could very well have Hashimoto's and be swinging from hyper to hypo. Hashi is the most common cause for hypothyroidism in developed countries. They make a synthetic hormone and a dessicated kind made from pig thyroid. There is no natural cure for hypothyroidism other than taking the hormone.
Avatar n tn I had "Total knee replacement" 2 months ago. I have had "pain in my leg" since I had the " and the doctor says there is nothing wrong. The pain goes "down my calf, behind my knee and a little above my knee." Once in awhile it gets slightly red and warm. Pain killers really don;t do anything for this. I don't know what to do. I had no pain before the surgery except for the knee.
Avatar f tn I am very sorry to hear about you and your son's health problems! If your veterinarian believes that your dog's knee requires surgery he may have either a torn anterior cruciate ligament or luxating patella (knee cap) or other less common injury. The best prognosis for the prevention of arthritis in the future would be surgery if the knee is unstable, though. I will try to give you some options that hopefully may help your dog in lieu of surgery as follows: 1.
Avatar n tn m now 32). The pain started below my knee, and is now accompanied with pain shooting down my shin. It also now feels as if something from the top of my knee is pulling as well. I am hurting, and I don't know what else to do. I am also taking Naperson (sp?), which is not helping. I can't take anything more than that, because pain meds knock me on my butt & I don't want that. Please help with other suggestions while I await my doctors appointment.
Avatar m tn I woke up last night to unbelivable pain in my knee. My leg was bent in a natural position and I woke up not being able to straighten it. It was actually the pain that woke me but I wasn't able to straighten my leg, it felt as if it was locked in place. It eventually subsided and I was able to straighten my leg, and have had a dull ache in it all day.
