i suddenly felt pain in the back of my right calf, right below the knee side, squeezing it, felt painful, but didnt notice any reddish color, on swelling, then it went to both calves. when sitting or standing, there is no pain, as i get up or start to walk there is this pain.
i searched online,as i was told it is Charlie's horse, but rather, they mentioned DVT, or clot.
The left calf is ok now,but the right calf,still has this pain.

I have done this before with no problems when I was in High school but after standing for roughly 30 minutes I was in a lot of pain at my knee and radiating down my lower leg. I recently suffered a nasty fall of a horse and landed almost totally on my right knee. I have also been fallen on (by the horse) four times over the last 10 or so years the mpst recent one coming a week after the nasty fall.
I would take it very slowly and yes another thing is walk the horse out tighten the girth leave the horse untied. Keep doing this. The horse will in my opinion stop this behavor, but you must first figure out why. Pain. Human error, Panick of being confined to a to tight girth or just being tied up and being saddled at the same time. As many of us know Horses are born Clausterphobic. They tend to react before thinking. Not all... There are acceptions to the rule. Check all your equipment.
About 6 months ago my daughter was working on a horse ranch and a horse jurked her around and she fell in a hole still holding on the the horse, ever since she has had severe back pain upper and lower and swelling in the foot and leg, her foot is like ice. She has been to several doctors but no one can tell her anything. One doctor says she has a factor of the spine in disc L5 and the other says she has no facture.
I got kicked by a horse in the shin about 2 years ago. It made a little hole in my shin where i could see muscle and it even made a little hole down in the muscle. Now if i have a really long day with alot of standing or walking my shin will start to ache really bad and the pain radiates up to my knee. The other day i was walking and it felt like i was being stabed in my shin and it made me lip bad every time i took a step but then it complety went away after afew steps.
Every time I tried to move it even a milimetre I would scream in agonizing pain. I have a pretty decent pain tolerance but this was unbareable.
I had to call in to work as the pain went on for over 2 hours straight. I could not get out of bed to go to the washroom or go downstairs, let alone drive myself to the hospital if the pain persisted. Finally, I was able to sit up and slowly and painfully get my legs off the side of the bed.
Then I was experiencing pain in just my left leg. The pain was coming from behind my leg just above my knee. I assumed it was because I pulled a muscle. I notice it mostly when I get up from sitting at my desk for a while or walking for long periods of time. Sometimes it doesn't hurt at all. Here recently I've been feeling the pain go down to my calf. It almost feels like I have a charley horse in my calf.
Although swollen and a bit unstable I have No pain in my knee. However my achilles tendon is like a Charlie horse all the time on same leg. I fell off my bike right onto that knee. Now 2 days later I’m having shooting pains on my heel of the other foot It’s been 1 month since the fall. Is this normal? The pain in my tendon and now my other foot on the bottom of my heel. I know I have altered my walking but, drs say nothing about where my pain IS?!
I too broke femur back in 2005 in a car accident I have metal rod going down my leg with a screw in my knee I understand the pain your having I have the same problems .
I had some mild pain in the calf of my left leg. My doctor said it is not a clot. The pain has gotten extensively worse now affecting the knee. I went back to doctor and the doctor said it is arthritis of the knee and that, at this point, no tests were necessary. Well, in spite of anti-inflammatory meds, I cannot put my full weight down on my leg without pain that seems more concentrated directly under the knee. I am walking around limping.
My mom is in training for a marathon, and had to quit after complaining of severe pain in her hips. She went to the doctor and after bone scans, x-rays, and the like; the doctor said it was burrcitous (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong). At first she thought it was arthritis, but it just kept getting worse. She's not allowed to run anymore.
for about a week i have had periodic "heat flashes" in the back of my right leg from the foot to the back of the knee. Not painful, but odd sensation like hot compress being applied. happens 8-10 times a day when i am sitting or standing. Had a severe leg cramp, charlie horse, about 1 1/2 weeks ago so thought symptoms might be related. went to my md who told me no danger of blood clot (would be very severe pain, swelling, hot to touch).
